If the prophet is supposed to represent a living quran, then he didn't make mistakes.

Again, one thing is to make mistakes, and another is to do wrong deliberately. Any human will always make mistakes, because only God can not make mistakes. In order not to make mistakes anybody would have to be in possession of all knowledge and all memory to have everything present at all times, which only God is.
The Qur'an surely gives wisdom and knowledge, but that I remember, it doesn't command anybody not to make mistakes ever, which would be impossible to fulfill. So there is no command that the Prophet disobeys deliberately.
As to the living Qur'an that is everything, all creation is a living qur'an.
Why do you say that Muhammad representes a living Qur'an? He may be, and I think he is an example of somebody striving to live by the Qur'an, but why a living qur'an?

Peace. In relation to prophets making mistakes, after receiving the whole quran, then surely the prophet didn't make any mistake except minor sins. If not he'd be guilty of not practising what he preaches.

Brother... you, me and all of the people in this forum never met "The Prophet" (I supposed you mean Muhammad Ibnu Abdullah who lives circa 600 AD right?)
Besides you, me and all of the people in this forum is not the one responsible judging "The Prophet" or anybody else..We should pay attention more on whether we make mistakes or not practicing what we preach..

As muslims we after having accepted Quran as the soul Guide can do mistakes, then a prophet is from amongst you; the only difference between us and the prophets is that he is better than all of us. Allah chose such persons as prophets to lead their respective communities.

All humans make mistakes
But the Quran is protected. Had the prophet made a relevant mistake God would have made it public.
E.g. 661 O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Yes the prophet was a living Quran , not a living hadith. Had he said anything other than Quran God would have killed him
"It (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the universe. Had he (Muhammad) uttered any other teachings, We would have grabbed him by the right, and We would have severed his Wateen (Major artery of the heart), none of you could have helped him." 6943-47
We see in the Quran that people have made mistakes and were forgiven and guided. E.g. gone from being gentile to being guided. Moses killed someone and was forgiven, Sheba worshipped the sun and repented, Pharoah's wife asked for God's guidance etc. etc. Nowhere in the Quran does it say that anyone can be sinless! as a matter of fact Allah says
1253 "Nor do I absolve my own self (of blame) the (human) soul is certainly prone to evil, unless my Lord do bestow His Mercy but surely my Lord is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful."
So anyone can be prone to evil except for whatever mercy Allah bestows upon you. So we all ask for forgiveness, guidance and mercy.
