Attention Maria: questions about the power of visualization.

Peace sister maria, i have a few question concerning visions which we would like come true.
- let's say someone wants to marry me and visualizes her marrying me but i dont want to marry her and visualize myself marrying someone else. What is the outcome?
- whatever obsesses you or occupies yr mind is almost your idol. So if i visualize my dream girl, wouldn't that be almost idol worship?
- Suppose i visualize something contradictory to quran, would God with his mercy, allow me to be lead astray? I dont think so, then the power of visualization depends on the will of God?

In memorizing, visualization is very effective. you need to come up with and image (memory pegs) and associate something (the one you need to memorize e.g. formulas, verses etc.). In that way everytime you remember the image .... you got what you memorized. No idol worship...

Visualization is used also in mental programming where you put a future image of what you desire. There are two pathways here One is positive or valid in within the Quran i.e. you make vivid thru visalization what you ask from Allah alone. Second is negative and is not in accord with the Quran because the future image (to some ) is actually what is going to happen! You picture what's the results!
To me visualization can be good in making clear what I really ask from Allah.
