Is majority of Muslim Quran only people ?

I believe, that the majority of muslims are quran only people
Sinc prophet mohamed until Bukhari times, it was only the quran
Since bukhari and tirmizi etc... some people practised sunnah, beard, cloack, siwak, praying nafilats etc.. they call them muslim pracitcing
The majority was doing salat fasting ramadan etc.., read the quran , nothing more, or doing only salat , some don't do it at all, but never practised sunnah or hadiths , the only think they did is work, do righteous in their lives, study etc... science , history etc.. are they called idolators? or prophet mohame dtrue followers?
Most of the times we see sunni or shiaa, people practicing the hadiths, we always call the ikhwa etc... they are called the religious people, but the majority of muslims don't practice it , so , my point is , The majority of muslims never been idolators except the ones we see on TV or most of the times in mosquess
How come some people came in the modern times , and made no difference between bukhari and ancient imams and new imams and civile society , puts everybody through history in the same basket and start calling all moslims since prophet mohamed times were idolators ?True muslims existed since prophet mohamed and keep existing, some people created sects using the quran and juged everyone else as an idolator, it doesn't sound right to me. any comment on social of muslim society through analysis ? not religious leadership but civil society.

I think you may be largely right. My estimate is that there is a wide spectrurm among people generally known as muslims between hard core hadith followers at one end and only Qur'an at the other with every nuance in between. May be most people tend to be in the half closer to Quran only, in the sense that if you press they will choose Qur'an and keep hadith as pious, inspired literature, but not decisive, and automatically discarding rotten hadith without going too much into giving reasons for it.

In early islam, there is diversity of groups. In the latter period, the shift is towards orthopraxy.
As it stands, many Muslims, have different strengths of bond with hadith/tradition/culture. Vast majority are simply not knowledgeable about it.
Mass ignorance is common to any large faith, even atheists. Only a minority actually study the beliefs they hold.
