Isn't it strange that the same 'we' seems to talk throughout there?

Peace,
Actually one should study the words first, otherwise one could (perhaps unintentionally) be basing their words on their beliefs. Which is a recipe for disaster.
This is one of the reasons we could analyse the words to see how authentic our beliefs are- but only if there are enough curious people.
As it is hard to believe God likes stoning!
Salaams All.

Hi Bro's,
I am astonished at the direction of voting- but agree with it.
Well Bro?s here is what can make it out as- but do give your thoughts or your own version.
Hijaarah = Very sagracious, hard of heart and crafty, political person.
(Quranic Dictionary)Teena = A Soul ? of which the sense of shame is the natural quality. (Lanes lexicon)

Why is it that people actually think that God needs any help punishing the guilty?

Hi Br.
No body is saying- God needs anything, but what is being said is that people do punish one another and the word Rabb isn't solely used to refer to God but in this case it is used to refer to the tyrant Pharaoh.
God Bless.

Greeting Daud,
Why is it that people actually think that God needs any help punishing the guilty?
That's a very good question, indeed! God's laws are in place and are inviolable, impossible to break without facing the consequences. End of the story. If you decide to walk off the top of a building, you're going to come under the jurisdiction of the LAW of CAUSE and EFFECT; and you're gonna face the consequences of that ill-chosen action!!! There are six other laws, each governing all aspects of our lives physical, emotional, mental, and interactional spheres, and whatever else you can come up with.
The seven laws
I. THE PRINCIPLE OF MENTALISM
?The All ('God' is MIND; The Universe is Mental.?II. THE PRINCIPLE OF CORRESPONDENCE
?As above, so below; as below, so above.?III. THE PRINCIPLE OF VIBRATION
?Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates.?IV. THE PRINCIPLE OF POLARITY
?Everything is Dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.?V. THE PRINCIPLE OF RHYTHM
?Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates.?VI. THE PRINCIPLE OF CAUSE AND EFFECT
?Every cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law.?VII. THE PRINCIPLE OF GENDER
?Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles; Gender manifests on all planes.?So, leave people to do as they see fit - as long as they're not wanting to hurt someone.
God has set up the perfect system to take care of them!

You know what makes hadith retarded? Read
You will always read "peace be upon him" after the mentioning of Muhammad. Well then how do you say this after uttering his name when it is written that he
-
Stoned a woman (or more than one) to death.
-
Gouged out the eyes, and cut off the hands and feet of people who stole some sheep I think it was, before letting them starve to death.
-
Massacred an entire Jewish tribe and had sex with some or all the wives of the people he killed (althought this one is probably being misconcieved but I think hadith is the reason for the misconception).
Peace be upon him my ass! He was a merciful prophet yes, but it just does not fit in that context, and it will never.
By the way, I was also wondering how popular stoning is today (in the "Islamic" countries that is) how often does a man or woman get stoned in these places? I think it's a given that many more women are stoned due to the fact they have to find 4 MALE WITNESSES to confirm her rape. Though come to think of it I guess the man is more screwed because he cannot claim he was raped, but I bet there's a loophole for him in the system. After all it's a man's system, not God's.

I read it somewhere but can't remember precisely where that " Saudi Arabian women get stoned for committing adultery and , Western women commit adultery when they are Stoned " . I guess no witnesses needed here ?
Cheers
