This is to me the islamic method of reform -by studeying,what majority of the jews are doing you will find even when they are 70 majorty,i think, will still be studeying?
But pity majority of the hadithists don't follow this tradition recomanded by the quran and sunnah.

There is no God but he,this is the witness of god,the angels,and those endowed with knowledge.......
Just look at the station God has given to those with knowledge.Indeed knowledge is very superior in the islamic way.
Allah says
"Are those equal,those who know and those who don't know?"
"Those who truly fear God among his servents , are those who have knowledge"
And the Apostle said
"To him who follows a path seeking knowledge,God will thereby make a road to paradise"
" The angels will indeed lower their wings to the seeker of knowledge as a sign of satisfaction and approval of what he does"
"Everyone in the heavens and everyone on earth . even the fish in the sea,ask forgiveness(from God)for the man of learning"
"The man of learning is as superiour to the worshipper as the moon is superiour to all other planets in the brilliance of light"
"Indeed,the learned men are the inheriters of the prophets"
"Indeed the prophets left behinde nothing in the way of pennies and pounds;they only left behind knowledge;so he who picks it up is the luckiest one".
"The superiority of the learned man over the wirshipper is like my superiority over the least of my followers"
The quran in connection with knowledge speaks of making the heavens subject to us,of making the earth subject to us,of making the stars subject to us ,of making the planets,the sease e.t.c
And know think of the past when indeed islam was spreading how advanced or rather how much research investigations where going on in the muslimworld
So science and knowledge are of prime importance to us.
This is someone elses work.but i respect his thinking greatly.SOUNDS GOOD !?
