          Here's another...

2721 ?I will punish him severely, or I will kill him, else he should have an clear excuse.?

          should be...

2721 ?I will punish him severely, or I will kill him, else he should have a clear excuse.?

          and also...

2772 Say ?It may already upon you by some of that which you hasten.?

          may possibly be...

2772 Say ?It may already be upon you by some of that which you hasten.?

I'm not sure about this one.

            Salam,

Regarding 2772, I have reworded it after reviewing the Arabic to become as follows

            1. Say Perhaps He is now sending your way some of that which you hasten.

                      Peace Layth,

Why translate Al Zubur in 5443 as 'The scripture'? While, in other places you have translated it as 'The psalms'?

                      Also, 5452.

                      Thanks.

                      peace

                        Peace,

The word used for Psalms is zabour which is used in its full form in 4163, 1755, and 21105.

As for the other verses, they use the root form which is zubr and that can vary in its given meaning (see its use in 1896 and 2353). Thus, the assigned meaning is depending in these verses on the context.

                          Peace,

Thanks for answering; I understand what you are saying.

My only concern is you've used Al kitab to translate as the record and the scripture. Why translate al zbr as both when Al quran has the specific words for those i.e. al kitab? Furthermore, How do you determine where to translate it as the psalms and where to translate it as the scripture,or the record? Although, David is one of the recepients of Al zabour, it is not exclusive to him (3/184).

I understand what you are saying, though the Arabic language does allow the use of different words sometimes to give the same meaning (e.g. Layth = Lion, Qaswara = Lion, Haitham = Lion, Asad = Lion). I did recheck the dictionary defintion on Zubr and scripture/book is one of its given meanings.

However, you are correct, the Quran is a precise and accurate work of art which uses different words to allude to slight variations perhaps in meaning. Is there a better word to use than scripture for zubr? I don`t have one, but if you do, please propose what options can be chosen from.
