Together We Rise & Fall?!

Salaam
Just came across an interesting video project from wearechange.org. I will quote the narration at the beginning of the video so you get an idea what it's about
"Recently I've been feeling really depressed and alone lately, going into the NYC subway doesn't help that feeling. Over 1.1million people ride the NYC subway system every single day, people from all different backgrounds, creeds, religions, jobs, races and even cultures. But the most amazing part is that nobody ever talks to each other, there's not even any eye contact, there's no human interaction, there's no humanity, there's no LIFE!"
I highly recommend this video but most importantly I want to see members opinions on

How did we as humans come to this?

What does life mean to you?

good point, i wonder that myself sometimes.
but more i wonder when people do interact with each other how badly they mistreat one another,
its like they forget theyre dealing with fellow human beings.idk how it got to this, slowly i guess, from an early age, and people eventually came to accept it as normal, to mind their own business, to fear others, to mistreat each other....
life to me, it means more school work hehe, it means education, development, ... has nothing to do with how much money you got, how many kids you want, how much pleasure youre getting, how big a house you got.....
has to do with how you behave
how you are as a personlife to me is an experience in a particular realm, like dreams are another reality, this life is another reality, and one day we will wake up and see what we did and how we were wrong....
this particular life is supposed to be hard the way it is, theres supposed to be pain, suffering, disasters... its because God made evil in it, its nothing wrong with that, its supposed to be an obstacle, so lets see who of us can overcome it
