Then obviously you don't know much about the prophet, and the fact that death penalties were rarely given out.
Although the quran specifically encourages us to be of the good people more, may be then the norm nowadays but where there really laws other then those in the quran being applied then, or we where told to consider?
Well, do they fit in with the spirit of the law - that is what you have to ask yourself. I say, more or less, they do fit in with the spirit of the law as revealed in the Quran.

I think you are misunderstanding me somewhat.
What i am saying is the prophet was a walking quran as they say - he obeyed the law in the quran and not any other laws.
And that is what the people where told to do as well, is this a wrong view?God Bless.

And that is what the people where told to do as well, is this a wrong view?Because the law was given to Muhammad (pbuh) at that point in time to address those set of circumstances and conditions of 7th century arabia - the idea of a timeless scripture was a concept debated over and created hundreds of years after the death of Muhammad (pbuh). If I say to you, "you can't eat cake", does that mean that you can never eat cake or the fact that you can't eat cake because it is breakfast and you should have something more nutritious? Context, context, context.

Absolutely and all i have said is the law has evolved/ improved and even changed as people have evolved- So the wisdom in the world.
There are now new laws for circumstances which weren't around in the 7th century.
And One should pay heed to them like the laws within the quran. yes or no?

Not as scary as the 'then how do we pray?!" (in regards to the Quran only people) - well, easy, we close our eyes and focus our whole mind on God. In my case, I wake up, and focus on God and thank him for safely delivering me through the night and for the great day to come.

But leaves 'the bad' to interpretation too. Take the forbidding of intoxicants. Some translate that to all alcohol, some translate it to liquor to mean high alcohol content things such as Vodka and Rum, and others such as the Salafi's have gone right into the deep end and claim that Coffee is a haraam.
For me, I tend to take the 'Tantra' view of this and approach these as things which we should enjoy but not allow them to control our lives. If they do start to control our lives, we should cease from using them. (anyone remember the quotation by Muhammad (pbuh) about going as far as china to find wisdom?).

When the quran was revealed - and there after the only law was that in the quran, yes?
look at the law nowadays how complex it has become, in the UK in some areas you are forbidden to cut the trees even. to do this you have to have a planning approval you need counsel of other people or other peoples opinion needs to be considered and not doing so and cutting th trees can be in breach of the law.
but, of course there are thousends of laws nowadays for nearly everything - which weren't' around when the quran was revealed.
I hope i am right, God Bless.The question in the title of the thread is not very well worded. There is wisdom in the world and the great reading. This is irrespective of what humans do or not do.
The design of galaxies and the cosmos and the atom is wise. The only unwise things come from humans. If every human was wise, then we wouldn't need human laws and natural laws would be enough and we would be in perfect harmony with the truth that governs all the universe.
