Miracles/signs
-
I was just wandering wether anybody believes that God sometimes intervenes and by doing so proves to us things such as devine justice? Or have you noticed in life how God works by looking into cause and effect. I believe I have. The only thing is those experiences are only good for those who have them and those who have witnessed it and I supose those who beloved that God is behind e everything. I supose that the Koran talks ably God revealing him self to those that he wants. So what do you think, are miracles possible and are they only within the laws of Gods laws that he has sat up for us? Thanks

PI recommend you read C. S. Lewis' book called, "Miracles". Although, he writes from a Christian point of view, he uses remarkable logic to build a solid argument for the existence of divine intervention. I think you will really enjoy it. )

Peace!
I have witnessed many signs that can be explained though the laws of nature as we understand them as well as one that seemingly defied them. In my meager understanding the Quran confirms the existence of both kinds, and teaches us how to understand them. I am limited in my openness to these teachings, and I pray my understanding of and attentiveness toward signs will increase. God has placed signs all over, and He wants us to contemplate them. Many of the signs exist outside the Quran, but the Quran reminds us of them and explains them.

Peki,
I believe in both divine justice and in miracles. I think that when one actively attempts to tune his/her will to God, then both concepts will become a regular part of the life of the Believer (no matter what label the Believer chooses to use--Jew, Hindu, Muslim, whatever).
I will give a shortened view on my outlook on justice, and particularly why there seems to such a great lack of it at times I have mentioned in other posts that I believe in reincarnation. Though this is harsh, I think an individual's station in life is determined by actions in both previous lives and the current life. In essence, I am saying that a person gets what he/she has coming. And believe me, this is a philosophy that I have had to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and thank God, I am now in a place where I can look at past bad times as a blessing). However, as I have been striving for the past six years to have an active relationship with God, I can feel this bad karma dropping off my reality. That is certainly a miracle.
I think that if a person truly strives for Allah, then the Believer's life will become filled with so much LOVE and so many BLESSINGS that every breathe seems like a miracle. In my view, this is our natural state. Every individual's destiny is to return to our Creator.

Peace. I am a 100% believer in miracles. The reason why is my healing experience. Healing from schizophrenia. If you read my story in the health and fitness section you will see what I mean. It's under thread name" How my schizophrenia that is supposed to be for life disappeared"
There is also evidence that I was well and that I came out of psychosis without medication. Towards the en of the thread you can find the recording of the conversation between my self, a psychiatrist and a psych nurse.
You see, I was looking and believing and I ended up receiving strong signs.
God says in the Quran that he will give us signs. God also says that those who don't believe in them are deat dumb and blind.
Thanks
Thanks
