"The Fictional Muhammad?" Symposium (Edip Yuksel versus Robert Spencer...)

Check this one folks. Robert Spencer and the coalition of neocons, evangelical crusaders, Christianist and Zionist warmongers have been using the Sunni and Shiite hearsay books to assassinate the character of the Quranic version of Muhammad, the real one. Please read and share the following debate with those who are interested in learning the truth about Muhammad and his mission.
I recently, participated in two online symposium moderated by Front Page Magazine. The first one, "The Fictional Muhammad?", is a debate on Robert Spencer's depiction of Muhammad in his recent best-selling books, "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (And the Crusades)" and "The Truth About Muhammad Founder of the World's Most Intolerant Religion." PS The second symposium is about the attempt of some dubious organizations to delete/amend verses of the Quran by popular vote. It will be published by the end of March.

You made good points Edip. Although what Spencer is pointing out isn't wrong, it is his purpose for doing so that is the problem. He is reciting the worse actions of Muhammad to show that Islam is a terrorist's religion. For what purpose? He does it in crowds that cheer him on and leave the room with deep hate for Islam. Perhaps if he made mention that these sayings and records of Muhammad are extremely unreliable, I would be a bit more understanding. He doesn't report on the protests against extremism in Muslim nations (like the one after 9/11 in Iran), but only points out the negatives. All he is doing is inciting hate. It would be very easy to do that against Catholics by citing the words and actions of Popes or portraying Judaism as a genocidal religion by reciting parts of the Book of Joshua.

Peace be with you.It is, for Yuksel, all or nothing at all. So while he is willing to jettison the Hadith, he is not willing to see Muhammad as anything other than the Model of Conduct, uswa hasana, the Perfect Man, al-insan al-kamil.
Is this an accurate statement from Jihadwatch, Edip?

Though I do not consider anyone, including Muhammad, to be infallible or perfect, however, I find have no reason to believe in fabricated hadith about him. Besides, I have no doubt that as a role model, he had a much better characted then those hadith books suggest.
