    Salam,
    Respectfully.

604 There has been a good example set for you by Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people "We are innocent from you and what you serve besides God. We have rejected you, and it appears that there shall be animosity and hatred between us and you until you believe in God alone." Except for the saying of Abraham to his father "I will ask forgiveness for you, but I do not possess any power to protect you from God." "Our Lord, we have put our trust in You, and we turn to You, and to You is the final destiny."

Does it mean that animosity and hatred has started between us and atheists or us and atheists and sunnis and Christians? Because it says untill you believe in God alone. Jews and Chrisatians and sunnis and shias and others do believe in God but they also associate differerent messengers and prophets to God.

How does one hate these people? Do you avoid them by not taslking with them? What if your boss is a Jew or a shia? Or an antheist?

This verse is on my mind for some time now.

    Peace.

      Peace,

We're not the ones to hate anyone. We're the ones being hated.

          Peace,
          respectfully.

          I don't hate anyone.
However, i see them hate me.
I just turn around and walk away.

          Peace.

Rather avoid religious topics if you know what their response will be. And walk away if they start making fun at islam or your beliefs or anything else.. Very peaceful way At least no need things to become ugly..

4140 And it has been sent down to you in the Scripture, that if you hear God's revelations being rejected and ridiculed in, then do not sit with them until they move on to a different subject; if not, then you are like them. God will gather the hypocrites and the disbelievers in Hell all together.
668 And if you encounter those who make fun of Our revelations, then turn away from them until they move on to a different topic; and if the devil lets you forget, then do not sit after remembering with the wicked people.

            peace!

Read 601-9 together and you'll get why.

601-3 is about a specific topic.

And 604-9 is a demonstration of that topic. Very very interesting.

Hint these are not good people by any means.

This has nothing to do with being a 'jew' an 'atheist' or a 'shia'.

              Carefully look at 602.
