It is just logical that they would suffer the most, but not all of them did. Sulaiman did not suffer much if at all!

Simply because they say the truth that is disliked by the existed religious leaders at their time. In our days, True Moslems suffer when confronting the existed Shariaa ideology that cancel out the Quran? The truth. The same happen with Christian and Jews who try to emphasis on the truth of their books.
Prophet Dawod and Soliman did not suffer simply because they were Kings!
        God bless all of you.

          Salaam

We cannot assume from few verses that Prophet Sulaiman or Dawood for that matter didn't suffer as much as any other Prophets. My understanding is that everyone goes through struggle and suffering in life relative to their physical and mental state which The God knows beforehand. This lifes purpose is to progress and struggle is something we will come across to prove to The God we are worthy. How can you have a reward without working for it? elektro

Observing laws in life will show you that there's a sequence to things and nothing happens instantly even though it may seem like that for us. Suffering is just a part of life we have to endure with to show The God we are worthy of evolving into a higher being. For instance you can't goto gym and expect to lift big weights straight away.....its all about endurance, patience and understanding of training that gives you good results even though it may seem your body is suffering while your training or hurting.

          PEACE
