New here... multi-religious person practicing some aspects of Islam

Hello all,
I am a multi-religious person, or a "plural spiritualist" for lack of a better word. I basically study and implement different aspects of religious/spiritual paths into my own spirituality. I feel that each path leads to God and light and that each religion has a basic core that connects to other basic parts of different religions worldwide. I currently am into studying and practicing Ifa and Islam. Ifa is an African tradition, a shamanistic one at that and I practice the ancestoral service part of it for now.
I am into Islam because that is where I feel drawn to spiritually at the moment and there are aspects of the religion that I am attracted to, the oneness of God, the prayers, the reminders of God being our Creator. I personally feel that the Quran is divinely inspired in parts but also feel that like other religious texts it may have been mistranslated, misplaced, etc so I don't call it "perfect" but rather choose to view it as a guidebook, so to speak and to be interpreted in a metaphorical and/or allegorical manner.
As per the hadiths, I don't believe in most of them anyways and I feel that trying to follow them all would be inhibitive of one's spiritual growth and it also takes the focus of God, therefore, like the Quran I feel that the hadiths are just merely recommendations, an option to follow.
I know that I am knew here and I hope that I don't offend anyone, again I must emphasize that these are my beliefs, my views and I know that not everyone shares them. I am respectful to others and I am here to learn more about the Quranist movement.

Welcome to Free-Minds. Most of us reject the traditional body of hadith, either for the most part or entirely. The Quran assures us that it provides sufficient guidance for us. peace

616 And when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah"
4363 And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me.
2285 "We make no distinction between any of His messengers."
The verse above speculating the commands of believers of Allah to Obey Jesus, Jesus's Hadith, Jesus's Book, Bible, Jesus Sunnah.
Then again, Moses also a messenger, thus speculating, believer have to Obey Moses, Moses's Hadith, Moses's Book Torah, Moses's Sunnah.
Just sharing my thoughts.

They're called Alevi.Yup.. they're a branch out of shiaism and one of the early example of what is known today as 'secular humanism'..
They have withstand persecution by the sunni's oriented Ottoman authority for centuries.. -

he study the The Vedas, The Quran, he believe in God, yet did not associate's himself with any particular religion.
I've observed, Many of Free-minds people, Studied the Quran, the Bible, the Torah, yet many of them do not associate themselves with particular religion.
Many don't call themselves Quranist, becuase, they don't find "Quranist" in the Quran. ;D
