When quran refers to the character of unbelievers as they reject truth, ALLAH is making a generalisation and He is best in generalising.
Remember that the same character of people rejecting the quran is the same character the human manifests when rejecting ANYTHING it does not understand.
E.g. "How can you not like apples? You must be crazy" or "Only idiots like to watch Batman"
