peace all
i have an urgent question in mind concerning Jehova's witnesses
what do u know about them ??
r they a religion or a sect ??
waiting for ur replies
peacePeace,
Respectfully. No ofence but to me they seem like an army.
They are recruiting just for the increase in num, bers, like sunnis. Sunnis make babies just so that they can be higher in percentage. It's the sincerity and honesty that counts.
I don't hate them but they have a wrong approach.Sigourney Weaver said it best to Paul Reiser in Aliens.
God bless you all.Peace.

I know them pretty well. Here is Jehovah witnesses in brief
They emphasize the name of God being Jehovah.
They reject Trinity, but they still give Jesus a special, super human position.
They reject sanctifying cross, a torture weapon.
They believe that only 144,000 will make it to the heaven.
They believe that the heaven will be created on this Earth.
They consider blood transfusion to be a sin.
They do not celebrate Christmas and Halloween claiming their pagan origins.
They do not join military service; in this regard, they are the real Christians.
They work hard to promote their message.
They meet at Kingdom Halls and subscribe to Watch Tower magazine.
They publish carefully designed books, with study questions in the footnotes.
....Peace,

Peace.Hehe! My husband is Sunni and I'm... "searching". He always wanted to marry a Christian (or something) so that he could have kids with her and so prevent her kids from being non-Sunni and getting the number of Sunnis to be higher, as well as figuring she'd probably convert too. What a weird way of seeing things. I'm never going to be Sunni though, and maybe not even Muslim, and I will definitely teach my child to be more open-minded than most Sunnis are when it comes to beliefs. That there exist different interpretations, etc. So she probably won't be Sunni either. I guess he missed his shot with me!

Peace,
Respectfully.Dear sister, trust me, all Muslims are open-minded people, all sunnis are narrow-minded and i'm saying this with all due respect. I have seen sunnis and they have rejected the Quran and Islam,, they are looking forward in being the tribe highest in numbers, they sincerity and realness is in the second place in their team, from what i have seen.
God knows best.
Glory be to God.
God bless you all. Please, don't give up on the Quran, trust God and rely on Him, you'll be amazed at the result.
I was.
God bless you.

Sunnis follow the alleged SUNNA (way) of the Messenger and many of them do not read the Qur'an in a language they can understand. A muslim is someone devoted wholly to God and "hear and obey" His Message delivered to Muhammad or the other Messengers/Prophets with the sole duty of the Messenger to deliver the message clearly. Ask any Sunni if they have read and understood the Qur'an, you'll see the difference. This is something I recently overlooked but its blindingly obvious how sects appear and grow dominant once you read the Qur'an and its frightening that God said this would happen and it has come to pass.
