Please be careful with our own 'prejudice'
-
salaam
perhaps the biggest challenge in our effort to be a good student is our very own prejudice. let us for a minute spend some moments to reflect on this thing called 'prejudice'.
-
the first prejudice is to think that man can achieve or acquire everything in this world solely on his own. the study of al-qur'an is a classic case - people are referring to other people for understanding, when in truth it is God who teaches. and God has not retired. read 966-8.
-
the second prejudice is to think that one knows better than the one next to him/her. worst still when one presumes that one holds the truth, while the others are wrong, or to think that one is better than the rest. read 7172.
you may never find the word 'prejudice' ever used in most translations of al-qur'an. but, perhaps you may want to consider looking for the meaning of the word stemming from 'th-l-m'. popular variants include 'tholeem, tholimeen, etc.'
spend some time on this word. ponder, and ponder. and don't forget to ask God for guidance.
this is one of the primary issues of 'aqeemoo assalat' or 'correct your (pl.) relationships.'
without prejudice please.

Peace,
Respectfully. We must be constantly aware of The Exalted God AllPowerful, The Most Merciful in order to get rid of the prejudice or at very least to lower its volume. By thinking of God and having contact with Him in a prayer or outside the prayer, one becomes more fearful of God and is slowly disconnects from the evil society and therefore the death becomes just as a stage and not a project.
God knows best.
God bless you all.

spot on, bro.
you are in my comprehension talking about 'taqwa' or 'awareness.'
try having this meaning for 'taqwa' in your reading of al-qur'an, and insha-Allah you will perhaps progress to grasping the idea of 'enlightened' (muttaqeen), then 'feel' or 'sense' or 'alim' (a-l-m).
without prejudice please.
may God truly guide us.

Prejudice is when you impose your own view on what God has written to turn it your own way ....... prejudice is when you hear a view that does not correspond to your own view even if the Quran states clearly that you are wrong.
Prejudice is not whether you like black, white, brown, yellow, green, Chinese, American, Arab, European, Honey, sugar, water, food, running, jogging , walking, animals, birds, the sea, the sun, the moon, the stars, your children, your wealth, your work, your friends, your family, your neighbor ... or NOT!
thats your choice as long as you do no harm intentionally and be just with them. "JUST" does NOT mean good all the time ..... as GOD has shown us several times in the past and will show us again very soon ...... so wait with patience and repel the unbelievers and the Mushrikeen with good arguments.
