Prayer

Salaam, Sis Malika
I don't think that anyone knows of ANY at this time. I have also inquired about one in my area, but I haven't been successful in finding an answer either (Tri-State are in USA).
I was just discussing this subject, because I was in a "submitters" (a Qur'an ALONE group) website who advises its readers to be involved in a Mosque for "proper" salaat guidance; however, the website, again, is Qur'an ALONE and also teaches against the "traditional" Shahada (they teach ONLY the 1st part and not that part of bearing witness about the Prophet Muhammad... as well as discouraging the "traditional" pbuh practice of addressing the Prophet). Having pointed this out... I'm wondering how they expect you to join any Mosque; which will CERTAINLY chastise you and eventually BAN you if you don't adhere to THEIR practices! Imagine reading ONLY the Qur'an and rejecting the Hadiths in their presence! &
I pray you find what you are looking for Sis.

Peace and blessings!

Peace,
Respectfully.Dear sister Meek, i was in a mosque where they did see me performing ablution according to The Quran, 56 and they also saw me pray without raising the hands, holding them on my belly and aiming the finger at the sky and without the traditional saying salam to the right and left side. After all that and after they witnessed me reading The Quran only without ever even touching the hadith books, i was banned. They banned me becaus ei followed The Quran and not sunna and hadith along with it.
Of course, i was in Leicester, small town in the Uk midlands but those guys i met in London Central Mosque are the tough ones, the dangerous ones. They threatned me several times.
Pray whereever you feel safe and pray to The Exalted God for safety and security.
Glory be to our God.
Peace. -
Salaam, Bro Alen...
That is exactly what I mean. Why waste my time going to a place that I know I will not be welcome before even going?
I know what many of their practices are and I also know that I don't agree. I also know that being a "beginner" they may mistake me for simply not understanding or knowing what or how to do, and earnestly try to instruct me; however, it will be to their disappointment, because it will be because I am a Qur'an ONLY Muslim.
I can already imagine the anger that they will have with me for "rejecting ALLAH and HIS Messenger"!!!
I can't imagine being jumped on and attacked with Qur'ans coming from all directions... at MY HEAD!
I'm sure they wouldn't even think of throwing their Hadiths at me... they're much too precious to waste on such a person as myself! >
Okay, that humor may have been a little much... and I'm sure a little offensive to someone... and if so, I apologize... but, I had to say that! ;D &
I will be on my own, with use of this forum for my support, I guess... for now.
Allah knows best!
Peace and blessings to all...

This cracks me up. I understand them witnessing your ablution, but how can they be praying themselves and also witness you not doing this or not doing that? If they were concentrating on their own prayers they would not even notice what you were doing or not doing. Or do they have the prayer police monitoring everyones move? >
