Verses on Death in The Holy Qur'an
-
Salaam,
Is there someone here who'd please let me double check my understanding (via PM) of the following verses on death in The Holy Qur'an?
Death 3185, 3193, 478, 2135, 3319, 3323, 4456, 4727, 5660, 5684-87, 6310, 7529
?and flight from battle 3316
?angel of 3211
?in God's cause 3195, 2258, 474
?those communities who have no revelation will not be destroyed 6131, 9115, 1047, 11117, 154, 16119, 1715, 2859
?those slain in God's cause are alive 2154, 3169
?while fleeing evil towards God 4100Some of them I get, but others are difficult for me to put in context.
Many Thanks.
Ma'salaama,

Salaam, Joe. You're right.
So after reading a few ayat before and after each of the ayah below, I still have questions.
3193- I think they?re talking about the Prophet (saw) advising them to revert, right? Okay, so which community is talking here? What happened? What?s the context behind this ayah?
2135- When the Qur?an says ?a taste of death?, is this reference to the pre-Judgement Day death?
5684-87 - Okay. I think that ?ye? is being told/reminded that no one can intervene in the life of another on Judgment Day, right? I think get that ?ye? is a nonbeliever. Who?s ?him? and who?s ?we?? The Prophet (saw) and Allah (swt), respectively?
7529 - This is talking about how a nonbeliever will enter hell as opposed to a Muslim, who will enter Jennah, right? I understand the few ayat before this one that talks about the soul leaving the body during Judgment Day (at least I think I do), but I don?t get the significance behind the legs joining.
1047 - Apostle = ? When the Qur?an says ?when their apostle comes before them? ?them? refers to nonbelievers and Muslims, right? Who?s ?them? in ?the matter with be judged before them? with justice? Whichever apostle and the nonbeliever/Muslim with whom the apostle interacted?
I hope my questions were clear.
Thanks in advance and ma'salaama,

In 3/193 I believe this calling is what you will find in various examples cited in the quran . This community I believe is the one consisting of those alluded to in another citation of the quran . Read from 3/193-198.
In 21/35 it refers to the transition from our present transient state.
The legs in such a position in 75/29 show me a restriction of one's movements. I will ask you to try to link conepts together, to follow with the context of passages as you read. Start from 75/6-36. Take a look at an earlier verse where it is said, '"Where can I escape!" No there is no refuge. To your Lord on that day is the abode.'
10/47 is speaking about the human community or a human commnity.

Salaam, Joe. I appreciate your input. Apologies for not thanking you sooner; I needed to take a break, so I just saw your response.
