If she has reached puberty, is should be legal by the Quran. And well, nature takes it's course. It's better to acknowledge and moderate.

The qur'aan does not speak of puberty as of any importance in matters of making a decision, but of wisdom (rashad). What if her mind is not growing as fast as her body?

I have thought of that. I don't think it is important. If she has a good man, and is obedient, that is the best solution. Surely, a girl who reaches puberty, thinks of a man. And who then but the then deviant would touch her, if society deems her underage. This is not a good solution. This is being blind.

Proof that most Muslims all over the world dont really know much about their religion and only do what they were taught to do. Telling people hadith is bad is not gonna work. All you need to do is show the content of the hadith and let people make up their own mind.

I do believe what jankren says, was the original intent with the Quran. It was simply recited, and people were inspired or instructed through it.
Hadith are unforunately, too many, to manage in a lifetime, for a single person. That is why one has to adopt the Quran Alone mindset, or prepare to spend an unreasonable amount of time, sorting hadith, on ones own. Allah does not burden anyone beyond their capability.

He brought a very important point. Most people really do not know what those hadith literature has and how it was compiled and when and by whom. These stories would put pressure on them to think about some of the stuff in these hadiths.

Fatwa in Morocco using Aisha as evidence of permissibility. Muslims were stunned to know about that hadith. In Egypt a writer wrote a research saying Aisha was really 18 when she married. His name is Islam Buheiri but was attacked by clerics who worship Bukhari. Things I see are moving.

                    Peace,
                    Respectfully.

I personally think prophet Muhammad was never married to Aisha nor any othe rminor and he neve rhad sex with any child.
I think that if Aisha was in prophet's house, she was there because he adopted her but my guess is as good a sany.
                    God knows best.

                    Peace. jedi

Have you read the article you propose? Is marriage the solution when most pregnancies are the result of rape? And what about "marriage" between school children?

Disregaring all cultural and political (in)correctness.
Are you telling me that disallowing marriage, for a woman, who has a child, is sensible? Or even disallowing her to marry the father of her child?

And rape, what would you say, if you have been taught that these things are wrong. Would it not be rape, or incest by any law? While by natures side, fact is, that we have a woman, sexually active, pregnant, without a man.

No. The point was that marriage should be legal from age of puberty.

School children in their early teens do not have the financial nor intellectual capacity to look after children, Mr Deen, nor the emotional maturity to agree to the commitment marriage requires of them. Laws against child sex rightly protect them against abuse.
