"Arnab" and "belalhammad" if you believe that the OT is the Word of GOD then...

...you might as well believe that hadith is the Word of GOD for the absurdities and infact many rituals in them are similar. Here
http//y19.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=51
None of these absurdities are shared by the Reminder i.e. the Quran. Hence by definition you two are NOT following Quran Alone. GOD Bless!JK!!
You do not believe that the Quran is the True Book of God; hence, you deleted verse 9-128 & 129.
Nor You believe that the Original Torah Exist; Nor you believe the Bible exist.I follow the Quran that tell me that they exist and are protected, but you disblieve in all the verses that say that; therefore, you are the one with a Huge Brain problem that needs to be fixed, and the only one who can fix it is God.

Peace,
I believe that the Torah = what Moses taught from his own words and the Injeel = what Jesus taught from his own words. As Psalms is what David said. God bless them all. So if Moses isn't quoted as saying it it is not the Torah. If Jesus isn't quoted as saying it (red letters in some bibles are specifically what he says, not counting Revelations where a certain John dreams of Jesus speaking to him) then it is not the Injeel. And teh book doesn't say David is saying this then it isn't Psalms. Rather than rely on second hand accounts and acting like the Quran is talking about the opinions of the gospel account and Old testament writers outside of his prophets why not just accept that God preserved his prophets' words in these books and not the words that surround them.
As for not being able to eat camel or rabbit. These are the laws for Israelists (Jews) (and in my opinion Christians as well. I think true Christians are brought into Jesus' tribe and must uphold Moses' and Jesus' covenants). So when they accept the Quran they still have to follow the teachings found in Moses' and Jesus' words along with the Quran. So they are entitled to all of their feasts given to them by Moses and are to follow everything Jesus gave them as well. They are a community with specific rites, as the Quran tells us that he created certain rites for certain communities. This is my opinion of how Jews and Christians who are true to truth, reality and their prophets should act. Obviously the reality of Judaism and Christianity is not this.
Godbless,

JK!!
You do not believe that the Quran is the True Book of God; hence, you deleted verse 9-128 & 129.
Nor You believe that the Original Torah Exist; Nor you believe the Bible exist.JK- I do not believe that the original Torah has been found BECAUSE THERES NO EVIDENCE FOR IT. And also i dont beleive that the entire Quran has been revealed to us either yet because again further evidence suggests that.
I follow the Quran that tell me that they exist and are protected, but you disblieve in all the verses that say that; therefore, you are the one with a Huge Brain problem that needs to be fixed, and the only one who can fix it is God.
!JK- The Quran does NOT say that the what the Jews and Christians today call "torah" is the actual Torah and if you dont get this into your head then you have a very big problem indeed. GOD Bless!

'The Book' Al Kitab has NOTHING to do with Old Testament or New Testament Bible/Torah
The Quran explains the details of The Book / Al Kitab....NOT Torah or Bible
And this Al-Quran / The Reading is not that can be produced from other than Allah, but it is a confirmation, that is between his two hands and the detailed explanation / tafseel of Al-kitab / The Book there is no doubt in it from the Lord of the worlds.
There are 33+ attributes of The Book / Al Kitab 'detailed' in the Quran in the following ayahs
2.185, 5.44, 3.3, 2.105, 11.96, 2.2, 53.4, 2.75, 6.104, 2.99, 85.21, 72.1, 5.15, 39.23, 12.3, 14.25, 3.138, 15.9, 7.145, 21.48, 2.99, 7.62, 3.44, 23.6, 98.2, 45.18, 9.49, 2.145, 10.35
For those of you who believe the Old Testament and New Testament are reflected in the Quran, then produce verses from the OT and NT that 'prophecize' that 'another' 'Book' or another 'Reading' will be produced.
As a result, the Quran should confirm those verses from the OT and NT.

What ??
003.003
YUSUFALI It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).
PICKTHAL He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.
SHAKIR He has revealed to you the Book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and He revealed the Tavrat and the Injeel aforetime, a guidance for the people, and He sent the Furqan. -
What needs to be understood is that the Quran 'explains' ALL of the attributes of The Book / Al Kitab
And this Al-Quran / The Reading is not that can be produced from other than Allah, but it is a confirmation, that is between his two hands and the detailed explanation / tafseel of Al-kitab / The Book there is no doubt in it from the Lord of the worlds.
Muusa / Moses was given The Book / Al Kitab with ALL of its attributes....
? And they do not evaluate ALLAH as HIS true evaluation. When they said? ALLAH has not revealed on any human being from anything? Say ? Who has revealed AL-KITAB/THE BOOK, that MOOSA/MOSES came with it?? A light and guidance for mankind YOU HAVE MADE IT QARATISA/PAPERS, you make them appear good/convincing and you conceal the truth (of Al Kitab), although you have been taught things that neither you nor your forefathers had ever known" Say ?Allah has revealed then leave them in their vain, idle talking without purpose.?
People have taken the guidance of Al Kitab and created their own Books!
And the Yahood/Jews say, ?That Nasara/Christians are not on anything.? And the Nasara/Christians say? that the Yahood/Jews are not on anything.? And both of them are reciting AL-KITAB/THE BOOK. ?? Like unto their word is what those say who know not; but Allah will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.
The Yahood / Jew and Nasara / Christian are reciting and reflecting upon The Book / Al Kitab and creating their own Books. (Torah and Bible)
And without doubt, We gave MOOSA/MOSES AL-KITAB/THE BOOK so they differed in it, and if the word had not preceded from your LORD, definitely He would have finished off (the differences) amongst them, and surely, they are in suspicion from it doubting.
Not one ayah exists that suggests that Muusa / Moses was given 'Torah'
In fact Allah states that ALL the Prophets were given the Tawrat! (arabic) NOT Torah (hebrew)
It was We who revealed the Law / Tawrat . therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the guided, by the Prophets who practiced Islam by Allah's will, by the rabbis and the doctors of law. for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's book, and they were witnesses thereto. therefore fear not men, but fear me, and sell not my signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah has revealed, they are (no better than) Unbelievers.

Peace,
We cannot, with certainty, attribute the Psalms to David. The Arabic zaboor signifies book. So when God said "...wa aataynaa daawuuda zabuuraa" it could be referring to any book.
Assalaam Alaikum
Again, the Zaboor is an attribute of Al Kitab as described in the following ayahs
Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message. My servants the righteous shall inherit the earth."
Walaqad katabna fee alzzaboori min baAAdi alththikri anna alarda yarithuha AAibadiya alssalihoona
Verily in this (Qur'an) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship Allah.
Inna fee hatha labalaghan liqawmin AAabideena
Its NOT just 'any book', 'katabna' means to prescribe, ordain, enforce.
Al Zaboor and Al Thikr are 'attributes' of Al Kitab as described in the Quran. (NOT physical books of papers)
If We had sent unto you a written on paper / book, so that they could touch it with their hands, the Unbelievers would have been sure to say. "This is nothing but obvious magic!"
Walaw nazzalna AAalayka kitaban fee qirtasin falamasoohu biaydeehim laqala allatheena kafaroo in hatha illa sihrun mubeenun
Qirtasin/ (Noun, tanween-kesra, indefinite) Book, Paper, What one writes upon;Root word Qartasa; Dictionary of the Holy Quran page 452 (qartasa)
-
So if the book is the book then where is the criterion and Furqan? Why isn't that verse the last one in the Book??
Prophets only speak Arabic a language that came later then Hebrew and aramaic? So why use the word Injil? I have read that the word injil is an abbreviated form of the greek for good news!!
"For those of you who believe the Old Testament and New Testament are reflected in the Quran, then produce verses from the OT and NT that 'prophecize' that 'another' 'Book' or another 'Reading' will be produced. "
LOL!! The Bible is a complete Holy Scripture, there was no need to send another Book.
People of which Book?
005.068
YUSUFALI Say "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith.
PICKTHAL Say O People of the Scripture! Ye have naught (of guidance) till ye observe the Torah and the Gospel and that which was revealed unto you from your Lord. That which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) from thy Lord is certain to increase the contumacy and disbelief of many of them. But grieve not for the disbelieving folk.
SHAKIR Say O followers of the Book! you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord; and surely that which has been revealed to you from your Lord shall make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; grieve not therefore for the unbelieving people. Is the Book the Quran that the Jews and Christians follow? Christians follow the Old and New Testament but Jews do not follow the New Testament.
002.113
YUSUFALI The Jews say "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon; and the Christians say "The Jews have naught (To stand) upon." Yet they (Profess to) study the (same) Book. Like unto their word is what those say who know not; but Allah will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.
PICKTHAL And the Jews say the Christians follow nothing (true), and the Christians say the Jews follow nothing (true); yet both are readers of the Scripture. Even thus speak those who know not. Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they differ.
SHAKIR And the Jews say The Christians do not follow anything (good) and the Christians say The Jews do not follow anything (good) while they recite the (same) Book. Even thus say those who have no knowledge, like to what they say; so Allah shall judge between them on the day of resurrection in what they differ. -
@pvb..Im sorry but Im not sure what your point is...
Arabic of Quran has always been in existence. 'Arabic' dialect can be traced back to Hira 3rd century, BEFORE Arabs.
Injil;root words is NAJA?A means relaxation, wholesome, useful, beneficial & NAJA means to save, be saved, be rescued, safety, get away, be delivered, confide, confidant, entrust, take one into confidence & NAJAL means to beget, father, sire, son(sun), progeny; ALL meanings of Injil, successively.
Hans Wehr Arabic English Dictionary 4th Ed. page 1107 (najuba) ? page 1109 (naja?a) ? page 1110 (naja)
Biblos is given a false generic meaning ?Burnt Bricks? and in Hebrew Bible ?Babel? means ?confusion?. However it is not a Greek word but adopted by them from the Caannanite/Phoenicians who gave them their alphabet it means ?burnt bricks? from Babylon or BIBLE-On.
Greeks named Gebail = Byblos. (Arab Jebail) Greeks while in Gebail imported Papyrus and ?Burnt Bricks? from Egypt with inscriptions.

Peace Arnab,
Thank you for citing purely without interpreting.
May you please explain some verses where you added brackets?
Were they because of different possible translation? or your part to clarify what GOD meant )
i'm asking because of verse - Woe to those tho write the scripture with the own hands and say this is from GOD.
as a part of ?So woe to those who write the Scripture with their hands then Say ?This is from God,? so that they can seek a cheap gain! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they gained.? (The Message 279)
When it comes to Word of GOD, i am really with no comment at all. Just let the waterfall wash the Soul.
Peace,

The word Bible comes from the Greek word "Biblos," which is translated "book." The original manuscripts of the Bible were kept in the synagogues. Those who had custody of the manuscripts first used the Greek word to describe the collection, which later became known as "the Book."

the word byblos is the name of a phoenician town north of beirut in lebanon, a small port. the bible was compiled under the orders of constantine the great in nicea. why are you claiming the name of a phoenician port is the name of the bible?
allah is the truth.

@Araf..Im not sure what you have suggested I have 'claimed'. I have merely posted what the Quran states itself.....
And this Al-Quran / The Reading is not that can be produced from other than Allah, but it is a confirmation, that is between his two hands and the explanation / details of Al-kitab / The Book there is no doubt in it from the Lord of the worlds.
Wama kana hatha alqur-anu an yuftara min dooni Allahi walakin tasdeeqa allathee bayna yadayhi watafseela alkitabi la rayba feehi min rabbi alAAalameena

It is the revelation that cometh to you from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow you not over (these) people without Faith.
As you can see Allah is mentioning 'ALL of the Revelation'.....such as Quran, Furqan, Hikmah, Moezen, etc.....
Thus as stated in Yunus 10.37, the Quran is the explanation of the attributes of Al Kitab.....
