to Him you return.I want to assume that the term "dead" in the first sentence is referring to before one is born.
234 And We said to the angels ?Yield to Adam,? so they yielded
except for Satan, he refused and became arrogant, and became of
the rejecters.
235 And We said ?O Adam, reside you and your mate in the paradise,
and eat from it bountifully as you both wish, and do not approach
this tree, else you will be of those who have wronged.?Who is "we?"

It's where, if someone is important enough, they refer to themselves as "we" even though they're only one person. Kings and Queens do it, and it's also found in the previous scriptures.
Jewish scholars point to the Majestic plural or the royal we in many verses of the Hebrew Bible or Tanakh
