5 things to increase your faith!
-
Peace be upon you,
5 things to increase your faith
(Except the religious duties, like salat , zakat etc. )
- Read Quran
Reading the Quran both reminds you of GOD, and keeps you away from evil and sins, it's a natural medicine. It's obligatory to read the Quran at dawn
You shall observe the Contact Prayer (Salat) when the sun declines from its highest point at noon, as it moves towards sunset. You SHALL* also observe (the recitation of) the Quran at dawn. (Reciting) the Quran at dawn is witnessed.
(*The word you shall, implies that it is a commandment and obligatory, however, the Quran should not be recited in the Contact Prayers, they should be dedicated to GOD Alone)
2.Meditate
We should meditate at night, for extra credit and faith. This is one of the things that gives us extra energy during the following day, and keep us focused on GOD
During the night you shall meditate on His name, and after prostrating.
Is it not better to be one of those who meditate in the night, prostrating and staying up, being aware of the Hereafter, and seeking the mercy of their Lord? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only those who possess intelligence will take heed.
During the night, you shall meditate for extra credit, that your Lord may raise you to an honorable rank.
- Thank GOD
Take time to thank GOD for everything you have, privately, or openly. Maybe when you are sitting on the bus, or on lunch, whenever you can, thank GOD and remember Him. That way, GOD will have mercy on you on the Day Of Resurrection. GOD have said in The Quran that the more we thank Him,
the more he gives us, what a great deal. Such is GOD, our Lord, Most Gracious, Most MercifulYou shall remember Me, that I may remember you, and be thankful to Me; do not be unappreciative.
Your Lord has decreed "The more you thank Me, the more I give you." But if you turn unappreciative, then My retribution is severe.
O you who believe, eat from the good things we provided for you, and be thankful to GOD, if you do worship Him alone
- Ask GOD for forgiveness
When we ask GOD for forgiveness, our souls become relieved, and we find it easier to remember GOD.
Forgiveness is a huge gift from GOD, Truly, only He is worthy of worshipYou should eagerly race towards forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise whose width encompasses the heavens and the earth; it awaits the righteous,
You shall implore GOD for forgiveness. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
Would they not repent to GOD, and ask His forgiveness? GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
"O my people, seek forgiveness from your Lord, then repent to Him. He will then shower you with provisions from the sky, and augment your strength. Do not turn back into transgressors."
- Remember GOD at all times
If we remember GOD at all times, then we are on a good way to Paradise. This is like steroids for your soul
You shall remember Me, that I may remember you, and be thankful to Me; do not be unappreciative.
They remember GOD while standing, sitting, and on their sides, and they reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth "Our Lord, You did not create all this in vain. Be You glorified. Save us from the retribution of Hell.
You shall remember your Lord within yourself, publicly, privately, and quietly, day and night; do not be unaware
They are the ones whose hearts rejoice in remembering GOD. Absolutely, by remembering GOD, the hearts rejoice.
Successful indeed is the one who redeems (saves) his soul.
By remembering the name of his Lord and observing the contact prayers (Salat).
peace be upon you all, comment and reflect on the verses

Peace,
Respectfully.Whenever i recite The Quran, Thank God for that, i feel better, i feel stronger, i feel better believer, better Muslim, better then not reciting.
I have been reciting less of The Quran lately and noticed that i got more anger and fury in me which is why i sometimes i get angry for the smallest thing, may God forgive me.- Recitation of The Quran.
- Prayer.
- Fasting.
- Keeping good relations with like minded people who remind you.
- Glorifying God.
I believe that a person must recite The Quran every day in order to stay on the right path, God willing.
Trust God.
Glory be to our God.
Peace. -
Salaam
I would like to add
Read Qur?an every day after dawn prayers and see it as a reflection on yesterday and a guidance for the day ahead. sun
If you feel angry about anything think of its root cause; if it?s people who made you angry then think of the way God created you and them and reflect on the difference of what has been bestowed upon us and thank God for the thoughtful mind you have been given. hmm
Forgive those who made you angry and seek no revenge, even if the hurt does not go away after forgiving, but tempt the idea of taking revenge is what should be shrugged off.
Whenever you feel ungrateful think of those who have less than you have and count your blessings then thank God for them all. hail
Regularly check what you have contributed to the world and the surroundings and to the people, last week, last month or last year. If you find no contribution then make an effort to contribute even if only by posting something good on a forum . Then reflect and thank God for making your existence worthwhile. yes
It?s a good habit to look out your window at night time and see the sky and the stars and thank God for giving you the security of a roof over your head and in the morning again look out of the window and see the day breaking and changing surrounding and reflect how perfect is the creation of God around you and thank Him. pr
Make it a habit to check if you care for others as much as yourself to do regular self assessment, reflect on your own doings and if you make a mistake don?t stubbornly deny it but seek forgiveness. &

Respectfully.Indeed, sister, indeed, i'm often grateful to God that i have a job and a roof over my head and ability to see with my own eyes and legs and the ability to walk and so much more, hands, that i can write and read, unlike many of them in the Mid_East. We need to be more aware of the things we have in order to survive.
Glory be to our God,
Glory be to our God,
Glory be to our God,

Peace,

I have been reciting less of The Quran lately and noticed that i got more anger and fury in me which is why i sometimes i get angry for the smallest thing, may God forgive me.This is so true for me, recently, because of exams etc. I've noticed I haven't been reading the Qu'ran or praying as much as I should. I have been getting very angry as a result, especially at my family, I've been snappy at the slightest things. It's so interesting how just a simple thing like reading the Qu'ran can help you physically and emotionally. Insha'Allah, I'll get back to reading it because I know I really feel peace when I read it.
