Speaking of images. Here is -
TV.
The situation of the TV in Norway.
I turn on the TV.
Channel #
1 - Cable Company Information Channel. Nothing interesting. Some music of not particulary good quality. Nothing Islamic.
2 - CNN. Queens telling me about the world. Nothing Islamic, and generally setting forth similar myths as the ignorant. (Anyone see "Holy Warriors/Islam" lol).
3 - MTV. Queens and Ignorant people singing. Nothing Islamic. Mostly weird stuff. Popular things are "bling" and "hoes". And the odd heroin-nerd.
4 - NRK 3. The national TV company, third outlet. Yes, what is there.. hmm a bit cleaner image, however that has faded the last years. Seems to put forth the same myths as CNN, in their news. Rarely anything Islamic.
5 - Local TV. Local heroes talking about fishing and stuff. Actually not too bad. But not exactly Islamic. (Maybe he's a christian?)
6 - NRK 2. Second iteration of national TV network. Supposedly art stuff. Sometimes interesting. Atleast the lust-less stuff.
7 - Swedish National Television Channel 2. I don't know.. La Linea?? ) Actually I get the impression that these people are not so proud, and are easier to talk to than Norwegians in general. ??
8 - TV2 advertising based channel. Youth based stuff. Popular series.. A series about someone who found marihuana in the underpants of her son.. Life of the mushrikin!
9 - NRK.. National TV # 1.. Supposedly the respectable channel. I don't know, I'm getting the impression they're all gay..
10 - TVNorway. addriven chan. Seems to have a level of modesty. Rarely anything Islamic.
11 - TV3 ad. Rarely anything Islamic. Home of many a reality show. They are indeed different, and not to shy to have sex on TV.
12 - National Geographic. Wow, among all these channels, this is a fresh breath.
13 - Travel Channel. Some alcoholic travelling around. ) And well, yeah some nice stuff from others.
14 - SportN.. hmm sport. What's that.
15 - And then there is.. hmm can't exactly see, Disney Channel? Maybe safe for the Kids? I'm looking at it and theres some muscular guy, and a sexy girl.. Maybe not. Erotic fantaties for teens, or the struggling muslim?
16 - Eurosport.. hm Euro - the dollar?
17 - TCM Old movies. Ahh a look into better times, where people have modesty even in the west. And had a sense of shame, of what to show on TV. Classics such as "Night of the Living Dead". And the odd turkey with Fred Astaire.
18 - The Disney Channel! Then the other wasn't the disney channel. This one is just showing Mickey Mouses ears. Start @ 06.00 it say. -
I would say that these acts are terrible acts the porn industry is made up of abused people and tormented people sociological study would inform you that porn encourages rape and degradation of women and encourages lusts. Any intimate act done with another whilst in of marriage is adultery, and any such act does outside of marriage is not guarding ones chastity.

JK- Is this true? Id really like to see that scientific study. There are many men, including myself, AND WOMEN who watch some type of porn or another, enjoy it and those men would NEVER think of raping a woman. Rather theyd enjoy the beauty. Now whether thats degrading or not is IMO very much subjective and everyone has to decide that forhim/herself. Yes there are types of porn which are unpleasant or violent like "gang bangs" for example. So we cannot generalize. THE REAL ISSUE with all kinds of porn is sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted/irresponsible child development. They could argue that they use condoms but those can break and moreover a condom, even if very thin, by no means gives as much pleasure as direct skin contact would since that skin is very sensitive. So theres always the risk that a time would come when one would subconsciously neglect the condom. These are the issue to be focussed on. If everyone just signs a legal responsibility contract in which both parties clarify that they, to the best of their knowledge, do not have any such disease which could be passd onto the other or the possible child and they take full responsibility in case a child develops(i.e. NIKAH IMO according to the Quran) then there would be no problem. Since such a legal sytem does not exist yet in the proper form i.e. only with ritualistic Christian/sectarin stuff, we still need to do this by ourselves and/or use one of our ideologically related witnesses(eg one from freeminds) in case of bonding. In my opinion porn does increase sexual desire which could lead some weak people into committing sexual offenses, just like violent video games increase aggressive behavior among younger people (Im a gamer myself so dont say I dont know what Im talking about. LOL).
So pornography in the form of entertainment does indirectly cause more sexual abuses such as rape because it further depics women as sexual objects. But one thing is true is that sexual offenses will always exist with or without pornography. Blame God for making average men produce 20X more testosterone than women. LOL

There are studies out there that suggest both things are relatively neutral and regarding video games, it is not quite as it seems http//www.pbs.org/kcts/videogamerevolution/impact/myths.html. It depends on the person, not the vehicle. Or if we're being biased, it depends on the weak male (as jankren put it but without the bias) who watches too much porn to start raping (or trying to) one fine day, or slapping innocent bystanders after one too many hours on GTA.
They are some who are influenced by porn, gaming and movies etc. In which case, would they still have lost it anyway eventually? Would something else take its place in the absence of porn? Or gaming, to bring out those coveted aggressive tendencies? Or movies for that matter? Yes, looking through history, plenty apparently. I know some people who didn't have access to porn and what they used to do, it was quite sick and in the interest of keeping this PG-13, I decline to mention it.
I think it's more to do with the person than the stuff around him. Some people I know have always gone the up-hill route in complete contrast to their surroundings, while others are taken in with what they see around them and are content to be one with the feng-shui in their homes. It's the inner mettle that experiences and refuses to be subjugated by what they see, instead they counter and maybe dominate that which er, tries to influence them...or something like that...speaking of which, it sounds like an rpg plot. The lines are blurring between reality and fantasy!

JK- You cant say all porn is like violent video games. Theres violent and rmantic porn. The latter does not lead men to rape any woman by any means. In many romanitc porns men and women are on an equal position and theres no point of one being taken as a sexual object. These type of porns are also often enjoyed by women themselves. Btw rape has been shown to have not much to do with sexual desire at all. If you think that then you havnt understood the psychology of those men. Rape has to do with power and control. GOD Bless!
