hello,
my name is roger. i have some questions to ask in the forum. what are your beliefs regarding jesus, krishna, buddha, mithras, joseph smith jr,
and other prophets. i come from a reform mormon/RLDS background and i am exploring God-Alone spirituality, yet i haven't officially
converted to "islam". for family and friends reasons for keeping unity and not being left by them, i am exploring God-Alone secretly as a
young adult. i ordered a copy of the "natural republic" and "the message holy quran" to read in my personal library. also, i read my RLDS
Book of Mormon and keep the lord's law of health, as expressed in the doctrines & covenants scriptural writings of RLDS-Mormonism.
hopefully, nobody is offended by this.i have read certain sections of the Urantia Book, but couldn't get into it that much, due to it heady format.
the quran is quite wonderful and beautiful as a religious text. my father is very threatening and is a recovered alcoholic (he's a "dry drunk".
my grandma is a very religious christian, who sees any other faith, except mainstream protestant christianity, LDS and RLDS mormonism,
as false and a teaching of devils.my mother is the only one who supports me in my interest in God-Alone islam. my friends have expressed
disapproval toward my interest in God-Alone islam and have asked me not to share my interest in this faith-system with them, because
they are concerned about everything going on with islam. somehow, my friends, when they hear the word "islam" they automatically
think, "terrorist" or "extremist".some of my friends have tried to keep me in the chrstian faith. they kinda disapproved me becoming RLDS
Mormon a while ago, but still accepted me as a friend and some of my family was kinda okay with me being an RLDS Mormon. keep in
in your prayer, God-Alone friends. hopefully, God will touch the hearts of those in my life toward helping me make the full transition from
Reform Mormon/RLDS Mormonism to the System of God Alone Islam. have a nice day today and please write back to me in this new topic
thread in your responses. take care and God bless.Your RLDS Mormon Friend,
Mr. Roger Joseph Perry

peace,
Welcome to the forum.
I would recommend reading The Quran, as it will answer most of the questions you have. See www.studyquran.org for example. That site also allows you to browse by topic if you wish.

Welcome
Few words of advice which helped me in my journey.
If you believe in al-quran(the reading) to be from The God then use it as a criterion as it describes itself as one (Al-Furqan).
Keep questioning and searching and expect that you may not get the answers immediately. Also this forum is one of the best for varied opinions so you would benefit from this like I did.
You also have one major benefit over others including me....you don't have the excess baggage from sunnism culture and traditions which means you would be able to interpret quranic verses without looking at them from a sunni perspective.
Look forward to your discussions on this site and keep reading and questioning......it helped me get to where I am now -X

Hello,
Thank you both for the inspiring guidance. Yes,
I will read my Quran and seek the answers I am
seeking right at this crucial beginning of living as
a "God-Aloner". It is very nice to hear from
such supportive new brothers and sisters, who are
there to help me develop spiritually as a more
fully dedicated "God-Aloner" in my life.Keep inspiring me and thank you for helping me get out of
the RLDS-Mormon faith. I should talk with my mother and
talk with another person I can trust, who
won't judge me nor bash my newfound faith in the
"God-Alone" spirituality. have a nice night.yours,
Roger

Keep inspiring me and thank you for helping me get out of
the RLDS-Mormon faith.Peace all
Here is the an inspiration
When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them); I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me; let them also with a will listen to My call and believe in Me; that they may follow the right way. (2-186)
Do not be worried when you are seeking Him, God is there with you; Just ask Him, and as he promised, He will lead you to the Path of the Submitters (Moslem). It is the Path that all prophets and Messengers followed; it is the Path of Submitting to God Alone. You Shall not seek Guidance beside His Guidance, if you want Him to guide you, simply because God Does Not like His creatures to seek others beside Him.

Hello All
Thank you for your inspirational guidance, BeIh. I have been looking up verses in the Quran to guide me closer to God as needed.
Will keep seeking Him through study of the Quran and Natural Republic, regular prayers, some fasting, celebration of specific days
of spiritual significance. What Holidays do "God-Alone" and "Quran-Only" believer celebrate, and when do these Holidays occur?
Maybe, someone can inform me about this question.I know that the days of fasting during the sacred month around the time
around the year when this sacred time occurs. Will wait patiently for an answer to my questions and hoping to learn more by
studying my Quran everyday as I should be. Have a great day and be blessed by God, Compassionate, Merciful.Roger
