I am a new, beginner with this forum.I tried my various computer skills to post pictures of older qurans but failed, later I knew that it is the policy of this forum that you just cannot post a picture, may be this is due to copyrights. Then one of my fellows suggested that I can send the SITE s address and p[eople can logon into and see the pictures,so this is the reason for the delay.

Now here is where to see the pictures and what to see.You log on to -------qurancomplex.com-------this site is located in Saudi Arabia, this is a huge quran complex specially working om quran, after the log on ----select "quran" and then pictures.Iy will open lot of pictures from old quran, but it will open only first and second page where chapter one that is sura fatiha and start of chapter two the cow.Now there are about 3 pictures that show that the word "Aameen" is written at the end of 1st chapter. This word is not found any of tyhe qurans we now have no matter where it is printed from, but there was a time when this word did exist in quran.I would also like to mention here, that from the start of islam more than 1400 years ago, people from all over the world have been going to Mecca for Hujj, and they use to carry a good copy of quran with them ,later at Mecca and Madina it was donated free for the general muslims so that they can recite quran, this practice is still there, people bring quran for donation, but due to recent prohibitions af Saudi govt.venders are seen selling copies of quran telling you that please buy it and donate it,just go inside the grand mosque and leave it there. Now if you are interested you can find out whether this wordAameen was originally in quran or later added but why and who and why was it removed from the quran, quran browser says this world in no where in the quran.

And would you believe that a full chapter was once taken out of quran for nearly 100 years?Just go to another site -----islamic-awareness.org-----then go to ---quran---goto----Sana codex this will open an older quran, said to be oldest, and read the findings of quranic experts on the same page, they have written that almost all qurans from 1st century hijrah did not contain the 1st chapter surah fatiha, this was because at point quran says,----we sent down quran and seven oft repeated ayats----so the people in first century concluded that seven ayats are some thing other than quran so they did not inclide it in quran. The pictures that you see in --qurancomlex.org shows 1st page with surah fatiha but in some other qurans the first page did not contain it so they have shown the picture of 2nd chapter the cow.if any body has any questions I will be pleased to answer them, thanks.
