Which translation of the Quran is most recommended ?

I have a Quran which has been translated by Dr. Rashid Khalifah but Im not convinced about his beliefs that he is a messenger of Allah and I find the subtext regarding this matter rather distracting.
Can anyone recommend me another Quran translation that is 'Quran Alone' orientated?Thanks

Yusuf Ali without the paranthesis, or Pichtal without paranthesis. I stay away from some Koranist translation since they go further than Sunnis and actually change the whole word to a meaning they believe is true. That ain't cool and is unethical.

I like the translation provided here. However, I do not understand why the downloadable translation was changed to a PDF format, when the MS-Word version was working. Why not have both, so the person can download either, or perhaps both (in event the person wants to be flexable)

So you speak Arabic, good. So do I although i usually have an English translation to undertsand some of the Arabic word. My English is stronger.
so is mine, but i beleive in my own opinion that the quran is a spiritual book and divine, if anyone wants to read it can read in arabic even non arabic speaking, because its through there spirituality that god will reveal the understanding of the quran, from my own experience i found the more i read quran the more i became a mo2min its like the body absorbs iman, and the stronger the iman the more will be revealed by god, but one has to trust god that only he can teach us, for me i beleive that any translation,regardless of how accurate it is, IT IS still human interpertaion, in other words i would rather take a longer time in reading quran and understanding knowing i am only learning from god himself then trust other then god and maybe understand it falsely..... that is true quran alone..... quranic verses are simplified for all generations not just mohamads. we should be able to understand them just by reading, they are self explanatory, but again one must have full trust in god..........
