-=[ Is Beard Necessary ??? ]=-

Salaaman IronSky,
Peace to all,
My opinion is that it doesnt really matter if you do or dont, either way its not required, but if you do its not condemned either. I actualy grew a thick beard recently for the first time ever, it had nothing to do with my beliefs though, it was basically a hunting season tradition i tried out, my family freaked out a bit though thinking i became a fanatical muslim or terrorist or something, many said it looked good on me though.

Its ok, but what about 2094?
2094 Answered "O my mother's son! Seize me not by my beard, nor by my head! Behold, I was afraid lest thou say, 'Thou hast caused a split among the children of Israel, and hast paid no heed to my bidding!"
(2094)
What could be the purpose of the mention of Haroon (AS) beard in AlQuraan?
And brother IronSky, if you do have beard now, will you able to wash your face completely and easily? Please take a try and let us know )

I does not mean that way, I was talking about the writing... It looks like "Banaan" to me, as I am non Arab. Don't worry, I am NOT saying anything to your people or your country, I hope I don't have any right to say about them. Look! I made myself clear too
BTW, what do you think of my actual question about beard?

Lol, sorry for interrupting this flirt session, but...
If it says in the Qur'an "you must keep a beard and shave the mustache", it's required. If it doesn't say it, then it's up to you whether you want to keep it because you think it looks cool or not. It says "obey God and the messenger" - "the messenger" being a general term for any messenger, not just Muhammed. And it says to not differentiate between messengers. Muhammed is no better than Jesus, who's no better than Abraham, Noah, etc. -

Actually, I was asking if anyone aware of any aayat that talks about beard, or can we conclude the beard is necessary from any of the verses of AlQuraan?
I hope you understand what I mean... It is a hot issue every where as I know.

salam mmkhan. to paraphrase the torah, there is a verse in the torah that say do not round the corners of your beard.
the beard is not the only thing that differentiates men from women. would you as a man remove all those things that differentiate you from a woman?
why would a man look for reasons to look like a woman?
the way allah made you is perfect.allah is the truth.
