Salaaman Anna,
salam,
as we know it is a sin to kill or murder the innocent, be them beleivers or not, unless by self defence, my question, why lkhidir had the right to kill the young child or man as the quran does not specify his ageI got what you are refering to... But who is Lkhider? I don't know him, Allah did not mentioned anything about him.

i think he is mentioned by name not 100% sure but not in those ayat, he did kill that child as he would have made his parents non beelivers, but does that justify him killing.

1865b, we read, ?and given knowledge from Us and whom we had taught wisdom from before us.? and endowed him with knowledge from Ourself.?
And there they found a devotee among Our devotees. We had blessed him with Our grace?
?they found one of our servants unto whom we had granted mercy from us?
Al-Khidr exposed to Moses two facts simultaneously, first that Moses' knowledge is limited and that many acts which seem to be evil, malicious or somber hide some of God's mercy and design.... As they are about to part ways, Al-Khidr explains that even though the ship's owners will not be pleased with their damaged ship, the blessing will manifest itself when the local king confiscates all ships fit to wage war, leaving behind the damaged ships.
The murder of the child would sadden his parents as first glance, yet is a blessing in disguise as God would replace the child with an obedient one, unlike the murdered child, who Al-Khidr fortold was about to make his pious parents suffer. As for the restoration of the wall without recompense, Al-Khidr explained that underneath the wall is a treasure belonging to two hapless orphans. As God's envoy, Al-Khidr restored the wall as God's kindness rewarding the orphans' father piety. Sufis draw many analogies supporting natural theology from this Qur'anic passage, such as the need for earthquakes to act in contrast to earth's stability, disease to contrast good health, and countless other analogies. The question of accountability raised by some is answered through the fact that Al-Khidr was acting as God's envoy and not according to his personal judgment
He acted upon God orders jedi

He acted upon God orders jedi
it is still murder, and this child did not have a chance to repent, where with moses when he killed the egyptian he realized he commited a crime and the egyptian was not a beleiver, he was actually trying to kill someone else yet god made it clear that moses commited a sin and was forgiven, why this specifec child and why is lkhidr allowed to kill in this way...
many children today make there parents suffer yet we dont go killing them and wouldnt it be a test for the parents themselves to deal with it . what was the reasoning behind it -
Peace to all,
I think this website gives a pretty interesting perspective on that issue

.Dear Brother Bahman,
I am going to tell you what I know about Al-Khidr but these
are only tales, which I don?t believe in. As you know
I believe what is in the Quran only.?Al Khadir? or ?Al Khidr? means ?Green One? in Arabic
language. He was named that way because wherever he goes the land becomes green and the plants start growing. (?Khidr? is the Arabic name. In Iran he is called ?Khezr?,and in Turkey, ?Hizir.?)

Some Sunni say that his real name is "Bilya ibne Malkan" or "Ayliya ibne
Malkan". Other people think his real name is "Khidhroun",or "Ilyas" (Elie), or "Al Yasa'''. Anyway, nobody knows for sure. The Hebrew name of ?Al-Khidr is ?Aziluth?. The Christian name is Metatron?
The majority of the Sunni think he is a prophet of God and that he is still alive. He is also called the ?Eternal Prophet?. According to them he will never die till the Day of Judgment.
The Sunni believe that Al-Khidr can be present in numerous places at the same time and not permanently restricted by the requirements of humanity like us. He can eat and drink like us when he wants to, but is not compelled to like us. They also believe that there is a degree of sainthood, which is called ?the degree of Al-Khidr.? A saint who reaches this degree receives instruction from Al-Khidr and meets with him.The Sunni claim that Imam Nawawi used to meet with al-Khidr and converse with him.(al-Sakhawi, Tarjimat shaykh al-islam qutb al-awliya Abi Zakariyya al-Nawawi, p. 33.)The Sufi believe that Al-Khidr appears in various ages and places to help sincere Sufi believers. The picture of
Al-Khidr/Metatron is in this webpage

to some Christians Al-Khidr/Metatron is an angelic being incarnated on Earth to help humanity. God appointed Al-Khidr/Metatron to be His voice. Also they believe that he told Jesus that he was the son of God.According to some Jews God created an angel called Metatron (Al-Khidr), which is the head of all the angels. After Israel sinned with the golden calf, God told Moses that he is
sending Metatron to accompany the Children of Israel, instead of being directly with them Himself. They also say that Metatron, whose name is like his Master?s in that the numerical value of Metatron, 314, is the same as the Name of God, Sha-dai.The Jews believe in Metatron as the highest of the angels despite he is not mentioned in the Scriptures. The meaning of his name has never been satisfactorily explained
although one interpretation of it is "one who occupies the throne next to the Divine throne."Metatron is said to have been the prophet Enoch, who was taken up to Heaven and transformed into an angel of fire, with thirty-six pairs of wings, to continue his
days as a celestial scribe. Metatron has also been identified as the Liberating Angel and the one who wrestled with Jacob; the one who stayed Abraham's hand from sacrificing his son Isaac; and the one who led the Hebrews through the forty years in the wilderness. In certain schools of mysticism, Metatron, said to be the tallest of all the heavenly beings (13 to 18 feet),
became known as Lesser YHWH. In Hebrew, the letters 'YHWH' stand for the most sacred and unpronounceable name of God.As God has many names, so, too, Metatron was thought to have many names, Yahoel, Yofiel, Surya, and Lad are just a few of his other names. . One mystic said Metatron carries Jewish prayers up through 900 heavens to God.End of the
tales.Peace. -
