    Peace to you all,

    I am Hafsa I am an Australian and have been attempting to practice Islam for just over two years. I came across free minds before and then put it away. Now, I am into it again and some of the stuff is just blowing my mind, although I'm not fully convinced of a lot of it (yet). I am enjoying the fresh yearning for knowledge that the questioning is giving me- I am in the Qu'ran every day again and getting up for fajr, thank Allah! I have heaps of questions. I understand the problems with hadith (well, a bit) but still find it hard to consider letting go entirely. I know our Qu'ran is clear and complete but I still have trouble figuring out how many salat from Qu'ran only and there seems to be disagreement about it here. Surely it should be clear for us? But I won't open that can of worms,I understand there is plenty of info on that topic. I feel that I just need to stick to the Qu'ran and really study it and things will come clear, God willing. I also have questions about the ka'ba etc...

    Happy searching )

      peace and welcome to the forum.

      I recommend www.studyquran.org

      Take your time. Let your studies sculpt away the inessentials and reveal the true form of your being.

      All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

            Peace
            I hope God will make it easy for you to reach the truth;
            Please remember when seeking God's Knowledge (the Ultimate Truth), the problem is not to find the truth, but it is when you find it clearly in the Quran but is against what you used to practice; then, you will be faced with a challenging and scarey situation; the situation that most people who are seeking God's knowledge fail to overcome; most of them will seek help from the Religious Lords (human knowledge) whom will lead them astray.

            Trust God's Message...it is very clear and well-established.
            As far as the Prayers time per day, please read 11-114, 17-78 and let me know what knowledge (God's knowledge) you will gain.

            May God lead you to the straight Path.
            Peace
