Dual Islam?

In this book called "Dual Islam" (http//ourbeacon.com/wp-content/uploads/Dr.%20Shabbir/2007/09/dualislam.pdf) I see many outrageous hadeeth which I can't believe have been narrated, but how come there are no references? For the ones that have references, you simply can't find the hadith anywhere. Could it be possible that the author made these hadeeth up? Things such as

"I have seen Ahadith in the Six Right Ones that completely cancel out the Qur'an."
(Nizaam-ul-Qur'an by Sheikh Hamiduddin Farahi) -
Hazrat Abu Hurairah used to say, "I have conveyed numerous such Ahadith to you
people that if Hazrat Umar were alive he would strike me with his whip." -
Hazrat Abu Hurairah embraced Islam just three years before the Rasool's (S) demise,
yet he is the most prolific narrator of Ahadith. It is reported that he went to Hazrat Umar
saying, "The Rasool (S) has just told me that whoever says La Ilaha Ill-Alllah (There is no
god but Allah) will go straight to Paradise." Hazrat Umar struck him on the chest and
took him to the Prophet (S). He respectfully asked, "O Rasullullah! Have you said this?"
The Prophet (S) answered in the affirmative. Hazrat Umar said, "For Allah's sake, don't do
this. Let people strive." The Prophet (S) replied, "Alright, let them work." (Muslim, Kitaabul
Iman, Mujtabai pg 45)
As the Prophet (S) commanded, Hazrat Abu Bakr burned his collection of 500 Ahadith
(Tazkarah-tul-Haffaaz by Imam Zahabi). Following this lead, Hazrat Umar commanded
the Sahaba to go home and return with their collections of Hadith. Then the entire stack
was set ablaze. (Tabaqat Ibn Sa?d vol 5 pg140) He said, ?There have been communities
before you that wrote books of prophetic sayings. But then, they abandoned Divine
Revelation and adhered to those man-made books. By God! I will not let this happen to
the Kitabullah (Qur?an).? (Jaame? Bayanil ?Ilm by Hafiz Ibn Abdul Birr)The only place I'm reading these quotes are in the book itself, "Dual Islam."
Can anyone verify this? Because if it's true, then they're pretty powerful statements.
Here's why I'm suspecting the author is making up stuff. Take a look at this hadith
- Rasoolullah said, ?The best man amongst my followers is the one who has the greatest
number of wives.? (Bukhari, Book of Nikah 352)
You can't find it anywhere else. Book of Nikah, 352 is nowhere to be found.

The author's source is directly under each Hadith, and these books quote from other Hadith books that are accepted among Indian and Pakistani sects.
You never heard of Farahi, a well known Tafsir writer? If not, then I suggest you read more before accussing people.

Read what I said for once. I didn't accuse anyone, I only questioned if it's possible that some of these were fabricated. I said many of them couldn't be verified. Take a look at this

I searched for Bukhari, Book of Nikah 352, and that hadith is not in there.

Narrated Said bin Jubair
Ibn 'Abbas asked me, "Are you married?" I replied, "No." He said, "Marry, for the best person of this (Muslim) nation (i.e., Muhammad) of all other Muslims, had the largest number of wives."

That is not the same hadith, nor is the meaning the same. This hadith is supposedly from Book of Nikah 352, yet it is nowhere to be found except in discussions relating to this particular book (Dual Islam).

Narrated Abu Huraira
The people say that Abu Huraira narrates too many narrations. In fact Allah knows whether I say the truth or not. They also ask, "Why do the emigrants and the Ansar not narrate as he does?" In fact, my emigrant brethren were busy trading in the markets, and my Ansar brethren were busy with their properties. I was a poor man keeping the company of Allah's Apostle and was satisfied with what filled my stomach. So, I used to be present while they (i.e. the emigrants and the Ansar) were absent, and I used to remember while they forgot (the Hadith). One day the Prophet said, "Whoever spreads his sheet till I finish this statement of mine and then gathers it on his chest, will never forget anything of my statement." So, I spread my covering sheet which was the only garment I had, till the Prophet finished his statement and then I gathered it over my chest. By Him Who had sent him (i.e. Allah's Apostle) with the truth, since then I did not forget even a single word of that statement of his, until this day of mine. By Allah, but for two verses in Allah's Book, I would never have related any narration (from the Prophet). (These two verses are) "Verily! Those who conceal the clear signs and the guidance which we have sent down .....(up to) the Merciful.' (2.159-160)

I searched for Bukhari, Book of Nikah 352, and that hadith is not in there.

That is an accusation.
There are many different numberings in different editions. Shabbir mostly uses the Urdu or Arabic versions of the Hadith books, so the numbers are different. Online versions of Bukhari and Muslim are incomplete. Mail him and ask him yourself for the reference or to point his mistake in reference.
There are around 6 million Hadith spread over 30 different authors at least, from which 7 are the most used. It is full of those nonsense.
