Azwaj (mates) are both males and females, including Lot? wife.
Thukraan and thukuur are used to mean males in the following verses.
4249 To God is the sovereignty of the heavens and the Earth. He creates whatever He wills. He bestows females (ا to whomever He wills, and bestows males (َ to whomever He wills.
4250 Or, He may bestow them with both females (ا and males (ا, and He makes whom He wills sterile. He is Knowledgeable, Capable.

I do not see that you have a strong argument against homosexual lust v heterosexual lust. A non committed heterosexual husband is more dangerous to his mate, children and the society than a committed homosexual couple to their mates and society. -

No I am restricting to its litteral meanings. Absolute calmness, absolutely relaxed, settled as motionless. It is also with reference to matrimonial association,

In hetro the "receptical/reservoir" is open from both sides. It has entry and exit for what flows in unlike the "dead sea".
