First check Koran, the chapter 89.

Beginning with the first four verses.

And simultaneously check Torah, chapter 12 of Exodus.

    Notice the contrast/complement

    K 89-1 By the - dawn.

T 12-6 The congregation of Israel shall kill the lamb at - dusk.

K 89-2 And the ten nights.

T 12-3 ...In the tenth day of this month...

K 89-3 And the even and the odd.

    T 12-3 10 days - even number; T 12-15 7 days shall ye eat unleavened bread - odd number.

K 89-4 And the night when it passes.

T 12-12 For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night.... T 12-13...when I see the blood, I will pass over you... - Lord's night pass over.

Can you see the complement of each other?

    How they complete each other?

Then in Koran, the same chapter continues with the stories of punishment of pharaoh and all his colleagues during the ages, executed at the same time successively.

And also in Torah, the same chapter speaks about the punishment towards the pharaoh's system.

Praise be to God. The Lord of intelligence and understanding.

    Peace,
    R.

Good Ustahi, indeed Quran is the confirmation of the previous Books (Torah, Injeel).

Please share more about this .

        Salaam,

Thanks for clearing up mysteries in Qur'an. Now I have a better understanding of these verses and where the ten nights come from.

Indeed praise to God and that he reveals important information from all kinds of people.

        God bless you

Trying to find the truth with an isolated Scripture is like trying to paint with a single color of the rainbow.
