How hard it is for a bible-lover to overcome his emotional attachments. He will crawl on his knees & wade through all fith to find something to justify his graveyard of pigs. Just because it is not found in thr quraan. -)

    ma'a salaam.

    God bless all.

      Peace all

Please note that Jesus was called Messenger and never a Prophet, but Yahia is Called Prophet and never a Messenger.

In other words, both Jesus and Yaha were born at the same time to work for God as
Yahia = Prophet of God who received a Revelation by Wahy
Jesus= Messenger of God who Preached the Revelation that was Given to Him (what was sent down on Yahia, and what was given to Moses)--The Injeel and Torah.

      Peace

An illiterate would not know that isaih & john (yahya) are different entities in his books, just like he wouldn't know almost anything at all. -)

        ma'a salaam.

        God bless all.

Don't be so emotional. All ur beliefs (like worshipping at graves & believing filth about prophets) are from ur own words. Why are u embarrassed now? As for isaiah & john's identity, again from ur books. -)

Why are u hiding behind mods like a little girl; I thought u were an old man. Or was that another sad lie? -)

            ma'a salaam.

            God bless all.

              belh-

The distinction which u draw between "given" & "sent down" is interesting.

However, the identity of isaiah as john seems far-fetched. The scrolls of isaiah are dated between 1-2 century b.c, while yahya was a contemporary of jesus.

Moreover, far as I know, the contents of the scrolls of isaiah are somewhat similar to what is already found in the book of isaiah in the old testament.

              ma'a salaam.

              God bless all.

                Peace,
Here are the questions that I'm trying to find an answer to

Is the date of Isaiah a precise or an estimate?

Do you agree that the Injeel was given to Jesus as were the Torah to Moses, and not sent down on Him?

Do you believe that John's Book is the Injeel?

Is Isaiah Scroll referenced in Quran as the Torah and Injeel?

What is the possibility that Isaiah Scroll=the Bible, given the Fact that its Words are more in line with Quran?

Why are u hiding behind mods like a little girl

hmm...Little girls can be as tough as men...trust me, you will meet many of them here.

Is the date of Isaiah a precise or an estimate?

                  • The biblical prophet isaiah is believed to have lived in the latter half of 8 century b.c.

Do you agree that the Injeel was given to Jesus as were the Torah to Moses, and not sent down on Him?

                  • I am not against it.

Do you believe that John's Book is the Injeel?

                  • Nowhere does the quraan mention that injeel was "sent down" upon yahya; at best, it is conjecture.

Is Isaiah Scroll referenced in Quran as the Torah and Injeel?

                  • Like I said, isaiah lived in the eight century; long after moses & long before jesus.

What is the possibility that Isaiah Scroll=the Bible, given the Fact that its Words are more in line with Quran?

                  • Isaiah scroll is already present in the old testament as the book of isaiah; there is not much new that it brings.

                  ma'a salaam.

                  God bless all.

As was pointed by Brother Eid (http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9598139.0 ), the Quran has a Verse (1930) shows that Jesus was a PROPHET as well. Therefore, I ask God for forgiveness for the mistake I made in my previous posts in which I indicated that the Quran shows that Jesus is a Messenger and not a Prophet.

                    Peace

Sent down or handed down or given means the religion that comes with the scriptures. The Tawrat is not what Gabriel revealed word by word. I think the Tablet came directly from God word by word, there was the 10 commandments in them. But the Koran can mean here the religious knowledge that the scriptures contain.
