    Peace truthseeker11

    Peace suga,

Following are the signs about the god's love

1190 ?And seek forgiveness from your Lord then repent to Him. My Lord is Merciful, Loving.?

8514 And He is the Forgiver, the Most Loving.

2195 And spend in the cause of God, but do not throw your resources to disaster. And do kindness, for God loves those who do kindness.

2222 And they ask you about menstruation? Say ?It is harmful, so retire yourselves sexually from the women during the menstruation, and do not approach them until they are cleansed. When they are cleansed, then you may approach them as God has commanded you.? God loves the repenters and He loves the cleansed.

331 Say ?If you love God then follow me so God will love you and forgive your sins.? God is Forgiver, Merciful.

376 Indeed, anyone who fulfils his pledge and is righteous, then God loves the righteous.

3134 The ones who spend in prosperity and adversity, and who repress anger, and who pardon the people; God loves the good doers.

3146 And many a prophet had a large number of devotees fighting with him. They did not waver by what afflicted them in the cause of God, nor did they become weak, nor did they become discouraged; and God loves the patient ones.

3148 So God gave them the reward of this world and the best reward of the Hereafter; and God loves the good doers.

3159 It was a mercy from God that you were soft towards them; had you been harsh and mean hearted, they would have dispersed from you; so pardon them and ask forgiveness for them, and consult them in the matter; but when you are convinced, then put your trust in God; God loves those who trust.

513 But because of them breaking their covenant, We have cursed them, and made their hearts become hardened; they take the words out of context; and they forgot much of what they were reminded of. And you will still discover betrayal in them except for a few; so pardon them and overlook; God loves the good doers.

542 They listen to lies, and consume money illicitly. If they come to you, then you may judge between them or turn away from them; and if you turn away from them then they cannot harm you in the least; and if you judge then judge between them with justice. God loves those who are just.

554 O you who believe, whoever from among you turns away from His system, then God will bring a people whom He loves and they love Him; humble towards the believers, proud towards the rejecters; they strive in the cause of God and do not fear to be blamed by those who blame. This is God?s grace, He bestows it upon whom He wills; God is Encompassing, Knowledgeable.

593 There is no sin upon those who believe and do good works for what they eat if they are aware and believe and do good work, then they are aware and believe, then they are aware and do good; God loves the good doers.

94 Except for those with whom you had a treaty from among those who have set up partners if they did not reduce anything from it nor did they plan to attack you; you shall continue the treaty with them until its expiry. God loves the righteous.

97 How can those who have set up partners have a pledge with God and with His messenger? Except for those with whom you made a pledge near the Sacred Temple, as long as they are upright with you, then you are upright with them. God loves the righteous.

9108 Do not maintain in it ever. A temple that is founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy that you maintain in it; in it are men who love to be cleansed. And God loves the cleansed.

499 And if two parties of believers battle with each other, you shall reconcile them; but if one of them aggresses against the other, then you shall fight the one aggressing until it complies with God's command. Once it complies, then you shall reconcile the two groups with justice, and be equitable; for God loves those who are equitable.

608 God does not forbid you from those who have not fought you because of your system, nor drove you out of your homes, that you deal kindly and equitably with them. For God loves the equitable.

614 God loves those who fight in His cause as one column; they are like bricks in a wall.

Here is another verse about God's love

" Saying Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes " ( 2039 ) .

    Peace

Could you please explain what do you mean by "other love" such as 3021 "mawaddah" and "Rahmah" or mercy and compassion ?

How does it differ from 'the love' Mahabbah in 2039 ?

        Thank you

"And one of His signs is that He created mates for you from yourselves that you may find rest in them, and He put between you love and compassion; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect" (3021) .

              One of my favourite verses

3021 And from His signs is that He created for you mates from yourselves that you may reside with them, and He placed between you affection and mercy. In that are signs for a people who reflect.

Even an agnostic friend of mine likes 3021 a lot. 3021 would sound really good in a song. If Cat Stevens still had a brain, I'd write him a fan letter asking him to put 3021 in a nice love song.

And from His demonstrative signs is that He created from your selves your mates so that you people could have respectively upon her the ultimate placidity/tranquility/serenity and He has placed amongst you feelings of love and compassion. Indeed in it are evident/demonstrative signs for those people who objectively reflect/analyze without overlapping with emotions/conjectures/whims/preconceived notions.

Every word of Qur'aan is a proven fact. Only about husbands it is said that they get "sakan" upon their respective wife. Husband each and every time achieves it while it is not necessary that wife also attains that placidity/tranquility. Need not elaborate it, husbands and wives they understand what happens many times. Read in conjunction 7189

                  Salaam Mazhar

Why do you think the verse says that the husband gets "sakeena" from the wife? Unless you think that the verse is addressing husbands only. The feminine pronoun in "ilaiha literally upon her" actually refers to the nafs, which is linguistically feminine, even if it belongs to the husband. The translation is therefore

And one of His signs is that He created mates for you from yourselves that you may find rest in them, and He put between you love and compassion; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.

I think most people overlooked the last part of the verse .

The reason is in 7189, which clarifies that it is not "nafs" that is being referred to but physically the wife. "yuskana alahiha" is for husband, only then it remains an eternal truth and fact for the reason already given.
