    Peace all,

I love music and art in general and recently, by listening to the music (even pop) I realised that they in fact contain messages that we could say can convey very well some of the messages from Quran, or can be a kind of prayer to God, if we listened to it carefully and ignored lyrics that were polluted by the writers mindset. What is amazing is that, in fact, they so beautifully relate to the Quran and the God's Words, even though they are usually written by people who had never come in contact with the Quran.

What are your favourite songs that you could relate so much to the God's message? Post the links here and of course, your interpretations))

I will start from 'Dreamer' by Ozzy Osbourne)))
    https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPo5jTQ39eE

    And lyrics
    "Dreamer"

Gazing through the window at the world outside
    Wondering will mother earth survive
Hoping that mankind will stop abusing her sometime

After all there's only just the two of us
And here we are still fighting for our lives
Watching all of history repeat itself
    Time after time

    I'm just a dreamer
    I dream my life away
    I'm just a dreamer
    Who dreams of better days

I watch the sun go down like everyone of us
I'm hoping that the dawn will bring a sign <-----This is amazing, someone looking for the sign in night and day just like in this verse

Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. (Quran 3190)

A better place for those Who will come after us ...
    This time

    I'm just a dreamer
I dream my life away oh yeah
    I'm just a dreamer
    Who dreams of better days

Your higher power may be God or Jesus Christ
It doesn't really matter much to me
Without each others help there ain't no hope for us
I'm living in a dream of fantasy
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah <--- The discussion of the nature of religion or God is meaningless without compassion and helping each other
    Quran 2177
'Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but righteousness is one who believes in Allah , the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask , and for freeing slaves; establishes prayer and gives zakah; fulfill their promise when they promise; and are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous'.

If only we could all just find serenity
It would be nice if we could live as one

The need for human (and spiritual) unity is so universal in people, no matter their cultural bacground or beliefs system
When will all this anger, hate and bigotry ...
    Be gone?

Another great line, giving the reasons why the unity is not present now..due to hate, anger and bigotry
    Sahih International Quran 1019
'And mankind was not but one community , but they differed. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them concerning that over which they differ.'

    I'm just a dreamer
    I dream my life away
    Today
    I'm just a dreamer
    Who dreams of better days
    Okay
    I'm just a dreamer
Who's searching for the way <---All the humanity is searching for the answers about the sense of this world and existence
    Today
    I'm just a dreamer
    Dreaming my life away
    Oh yeah, yeah, yeah

Let me know what you think of this and other examples))
Peace to you and have a beautiful day/evening
    sun sun
