      Peace,

There are many threads about zakat. Personally I do not consider zakat to have anything to do with charity but is related to the keeping together as a community and thus get purified.

Anyway, if you give charity and a poor person benefits from it then it is accepted as long as it is not followed by insult towards the recipient. And anonymous charity is better.

I am not that knowledgeable about the salvation army but if the money goes to help someone in need it is not wasted money. Kaffir is someone who opposes God you need to remember.

      God bless you

Who said zakat is giving Money?

In the past People using coins used to be very few, most of the People exchanged what they?ve produced.

In the great reading it is twisted with salat so it has also spirituel form of giving purity.
