    peace QS,

But if you researched such a thing, why not mention it? In any case, I asked of you the following

Perhaps you can help out with something. Are there any examples of beat or strike by a human against another human in which no additional clarifying words or prepositions are used in any Classical Arabic dictionary?

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

      Peace,

In marriage, a women must obey her husband in all marital issues in exchange to the gift and caretaking done by the husband. He has the upper hand.

Nushuz means total rebellion and disregard of the husband. Nushuz doesn't come immediately but in stages.

If you fear your wife is going to a state of nushuz, you must act, otherwise, she will disregard you completely ie. Nushuz.

To avoid nushuz, doing the three steps including beating, the final and corporeal punishment, is enough to avoid nushuz.

      Peace,

      Rami

Of course you will have to marry a weak woman or one who does not have strong males/females in her family or circle of friends; and you should be a physically strong man with no disability. Otherwise, tell me, who would beat up this one

What are your views on men slapping their wives in Leviticus?

            God bless

Well, Leviticus went further than slapping, more like stoning. I don't accept violence towards anyone except in self-defence

of course a woman must obey her husband, how can you go against the one who is feeding you? that would be unethical. husband surely has the upper hand and UPPERposition plus two hands of his wife as well. and if after all the scaretaking a husband fears nushuz he has god given right to beat her wife elhamdulillah. god knows better, we do not.

Those who think and practically beat blatently disobey the Command of Allah and stand included in those who believe in some part of the Book and disbelieve in some other part.

This is the ONLY place where these three words have been used together.

With such an understanding, anybody feeding another has the right to beat them up if they do not "obey" them, but in the end, you cannot beat someone who is stronger than you. This means that this remedy goes only for the strong against the weak, and weaker, older husbands and husbands who are sick and/or with disabilities are deprived of this "God-given right". Same goes to wives a stronger richer wife, a wife whose father or a relative is a man of authority, a gangster or just one who is ready to hire a gangster to revenge for his dughter/sister/relative/friend cannot be beaten up. And what shall we end up with? The stronger spouse beating up the helpless one....and you call this a God-given right? No, this is "domestic violence", not a godly right given to a violent, unkind arrogant person who commands the weaker to "obey" them.

In that case, if I was responsible for my old grandma I will beat her up and she can't do anything about it because I am feeding her )
Take a look at your own mother. Will you be happy if your dad beat her up simply because he was afraid?
Are you married? I hope not. I hope you never do until you realise the worth of a woman.
