Good question. There are many differences but the main ones are that Protestants do not accept the Pope as head of the Christian Church, nor do most of them accept Mary as anything more than the mother of Jesus. They do not pray to Mary or any of the saints as Catholics do. Some will still pray to Jesus and believe Jesus is "God incarnate" and others don't. Most allow their Priests, Ministers or whatever they call them, to marry, Catholics don't. There are many, many more. There are also the Eastern Orthodox Churches and the Anglo-Catholic Church that lie somewhere in between. .... Confused? Me too! hmm

Opus Dei is a Catholic sect that is very strict and sometimes brutal (Sound familiar?) they were founded by a Spanish Priest and are more fundamental than the mainstream Catholic church.

            Peace,
            Respectfully.

I believe that the queen of England should first read The Quran, read hadith as much as she can, needless to say, there are too many of them to be read and then decide. I'm sure that she will choose wisely, God willing and defend The Faith - Islam. I'm sure of it. I mean, in UK we have more freedom then anywhere in the Mid-East and even in some other countries in Europe.

Glory be to our God, THe Most Wise,
Glory be to our God, THe Most Powerful.
            Peace.

                  I remember new year's 1998.
I was in germany with my relatives.
I never even dreamt that one day World Trade center will collapse, that Saddam will be hanging out with US troops, literally, that Britney will shave her head, that i will be banned from London central Mosque for being a Muslim.

How can we possibly know what will come next?

                  Peace.

That is true, we can never know what is in God's mind.
