Real Terrorist? You have went too far, Hamza.

        Re-Read the Article on Etiquette

Do NOT make fun of others, or call them names

"O you who believe, no people shall ridicule other people, for they may be better than they. Nor shall any women ridicule other women, for they may be better than they. Nor shall you mock one another, or call each other names. Evil indeed is the reversion to wickedness after attaining faith. Anyone who does not repent after this, these are the transgressors." (4911)

This has devolved into that very thing with these numerous photo depictions.

              progressive,

what does this have to with Hamza insulting America?

or to the others depicting a muslimah and a veiled dog?

I do not elevate the american flag bit more than the veiled dog.. both are bad in my eyes.

                                    Peace,
                                    Respectfully.

I've seen women around here wear hijabs and i'v ebeen told that hijab is suppose to hide them but these same women who wear hijabs and even burqas, also wear make up, i mean, lots of lots of lots of make up which of course brings attention of men and they look at them even more then the girls dressed in the 21st., century dreses.

Why do women who wear hijabs, also wear make up? Hiajbs is to hide and make up attracts ....?
                                    Am i missing something?

                                    Peace.

                                    Peace Alen,
I don't think anyone answered your question, at least not that I saw when I skimmed the postings.
I believe the reason so many women wear kohl or other makeup is that there are hadiths that say that the women were wearing kohl. So they're going by that as far as I know.
I thought not that hijab is supposed to "hide" the women, but to cover their private parts. So the belief is that hair is considered a "private" part not to be seen by everyone.

Why should muslim women set themselves apart as the artile startint the thread says. One sets oneself apart from evil and fahisha, but why should one set her or himself apart from other people, honest people in their looks? In what way is more decent a decent person with his o her head covered than a decent person with his or her head covered?

If yoru virtue sets you apart then that is it. If your virtue doesn't set you apart no amount of clothes will work the miracle. Besides, usually the virtuous people do not set themselves apart.

                                      Salaam

Whose belief? If a woman is bald, does it mean she does not have "private" part and is not required to hide anything?
Or did I misunderstand what hair as in "private" part you mean confused

So what you are saying is that, if a woman shaves her private parts, she can walk around naked? o
