Hi,
I am Thomas. I have a new name.I am Thomas Lane. I have been in the forum for a little time compared to others. I just wanted everyone to know that I changed my name in the forum to Dariush. I was unable to do this by editing my profile, so I made a new account. I have many friends in Persia. I like the name Dariush, and hence I call myself Dariush for the purposes of this forum and site. I love this site!! O0
I know that Jesus is a prophet as the Christian scriptures plainly tell us this fact. Jesus tells us on many occasions that there is One God and that none are equal to Him. Jesus also says that equality with God should not be the goal of a seeker. Jesus also tells us that nobody knows the day or the hour of the Judgement Day, not even him. If Jesus was a personality within the Trinity, as polytheistic Christians assert, he would surely know the day and the time. He would also know what people were thinking, rather than sensing their overall disposition toward the message of God that he was proclaiming. Is it wrong, however, to hold Jesus up in high regard, though not higher than God and not God's partner in the redemption of God's people?

I agree with you. I don't think it is wrong to hold Jesus in high regard (after all, I am a Christian Minister) but I do believe it is completely wrong to say Jesus was (is) God, or the only begotten son of God.

Why did you change your name?

So, then we hold all of our prophets in high regard, but we do not make distinctions between them. Now it is clear to me. We glorify God alone. My head has been polluted by Nicaea.

But we can help to enlighten them! Trinitarian Christianity is on a severe decline in Europe and the United States. Church attendance is abysmal. While the cancer of Trinitarian dogma spreads throughout Africa, Reformist Islam can captivate Europe and the West.

Well, I am a minister of a nondenominational, nontrinitarian Christian Church and my and other churches like mine are growing. I firmly believe that reformist Islam and nontrinitarian Christians should unite to counter the corruption in both traditional Christianity and traditional Islam.

You did not say God has a Son Named Jesus You never never even said He died for everyone, you Rev unless you repent and preach the truth will end up in hell. Preachers are going to be Judged more and yes there is many preachers in hell now. You sir do not preach the truth. If I visited your so called church I would run fast. Unless you preach the risen Lord reserected many of your members will be joining you in hell. stop trying to please man, please God instead and preach Jesus as Jesus is the only way to the Father. bravo

Well thats fine. As I don't believe in hell, it doesn't really matter does it? And to say I am trying to please people and not God means you just don't know me or my beliefs at all. If anyone is going to hell (if there is such a place) it is you for all your blaspheming and placing someone equal or higher than God.

Just because you do not agree with me, please do not call me names, that is not what this forum is about. So you obviously also believe that all Jews and Muslims are going to hell too because they do not believe Jesus is their saviour? That is ridiculous.
