I doubt it does. The usage of saying 'sister of Aaron' refers to that they are of the same bloodline and not that they lived during the same era.
It is pretty common in semitic linguistic tradition to say someone is a brother/sister of X when you speak of someone of a certain family.
It could also be referring to the priesthood of Aaron since according to tradition Aaron was assigned as the first high priest and that the sister of Aaron referred to faith-sister. It may be related to that Aaron was eloquent in speech and fit to be a preacher in a temple and before a crowd.
Moses was a remarkable character, but he seems to have had some interpersonal problems and why he begged the Sustainer to lend him assistance. He had already tried to convince the people in Mesr but he failed and was on flight. Perchance he was more of a thinker than articulate. I can find myself in a similar dilemma actually.
But I would rather say that it refers to that Maryam belonged to the same assembly/family as Aaron.

I agree with Man Of Faith. Often these so called "contradictions" are no more than mistranslations, wrong assumptions and lack of study into the context.Gather together all the verses about "Mariam" and you will see that GOD s word has not got a single contradiction in it!!!!!
I can say to you "Brother you have got this one wrong"! By "Brother" of course I do not mean "Son of my mother".

The Qur'an does not confuse anything at all. The Maryam in the Qur'an is indeed sister of Harun and 3isa is her son, the Prophet.

Muslims and christians have been the object of a tremendous fraud on those counts.
