Was Muhammad mentioned in the Torah and Gospel? I say not as far as I know.

Remember, the New Testament, Hebrew Bible and the Gospels are corrupted. Therefore, one can't simply choose and claim it's about the Prophet, and it's irrational to say that there exist some true parts, but those are only those that doesn't contradict Islam, this is stupid, if something is historically corrupted, you cannot claim it's true just because it isn't contradicting Islamic tenets.
Some Muslims claim Book of Isaiah, chapter 42, is prophesying Muhammad, but one must remember, from a historical viewpoint, only from chapter 1 to 39 are actually written by Prophet Isaiah - therefore, you need to find something from there.
Muslims claim that the Gospel of John is prophesying Muhammad, but one must remember, from a historical viewpoint, it's the latest gospel and therefore the most unreliable and distorted, even Christians accept it as a more "spiritual Gospel" for Christian theology than anything else, only Gospel of Mark is the earliest - therefore, you need to find something from there.

Qur'an does not explicitly say Muhammad (pbuh) was mentioned in Torah and Gospel.
Per my humble understanding the Prophet that Qur'an says to be mentioned in Torah and Gospel is Jesus (pbuh).May Allah guide us all to the straight route.

Indeed, the word Muhammad means "of goodly posture/caliber. Quran an instruction for a person who understand it is one. It was created to help in preaching and likely for a cleric or other prophet. Its say commands testify on that. It helps to give a reply based on verbal arguments and to explain the dynamics of the realm of GOD.
Unfortunately a huge amount of passages in Quran do not really represent what they are in truth meant to say.
