How Many Verses Does Muhammad Speak In?

I removed your "loud" post because double posting is not permitted. No need to shout.
If you calmly re-read my post, you will probably understand what I am saying. You are talking of "the book", I am talking of "al kitaab" which is not necessarily translated to "the book".

lol...sorry...I was just trying to be funny...but I guess it failed to amuse anyone...for those who don't know what it was, it was just my previous post quoted with size=99pt rotfl rotfl
Thanks for the info Samia. I'm just wondering how many verses make up Al-Kitab.

Do you have an idea of how many commandments that are given by the messenger and/or Allah? I know the number of times the messenger speaks. It's just that I hardly see him give and order to be obeyed...and we're commanded to obey him and all.

There are 296 verses in the Quran with the word QUL in imperative form. So what follows is definitely the word which the messenger said. However, the whole quran came from his mouth as well... Those who obey the messenger have obeyed Allah...

Brother, personally verify the accuracy of data.
You, the Messenger pronounce, ?You people accept the word of Allah and the Messenger.
For reason {gesture of refusal] you people turn away, in such case indeed Allah does not like those who refuse to accept .{Refer 332}
Whosoever listened and accepted the word of the Messenger, for reason {He is communicating nothing but word of Allah} he certainly accepted word of Allah.
Let us see is there any variation
Allah said
Second part of Messenger's statement Allah says
This is the meaning of "accept the word of Allah and the Messenger". Both say one thing. People veiled by hadith writers may see and ponder for a while.

Thanks...but it says 272...
That's still a lot...but it's not ONE-THIRD OF THE BOOK http//i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg179/Final_Fantasy_Ultimania/haermm.gif
And you're right. That IS the obedience to the messenger. You think God is going to leave you hanging with some contradicting books of garbage that make hardly any sense?!
And he says not to JUDGE from another book...or believe in other hadith therefore "Muhammad's hadith" is unnaccepted because God called his own hadith the BEST.
Did GOD say the hadith from the books of Bukhari, Muslim, etc. is really from Muhammad? Did he not condemn them in the Quran?
God calls his own hadith the BEST hadith with AUTHENTIC narrations of the messenger IN IT. The messenger isn't in some piles of trash.

Peace,
Respectfully. This sunday i'm having a public debate with some of them at the Hyde Park and i have already piled up verses that speak strongly against the hadith books written by these narrators that cannot be checked.
Peace.

Salaam Alen,
May Allah help you in your efforts and protect you. I hope the debate will be available in mp3

All this exercise will be of no avail. It is only good way of gaining some popularity. Allah has nowhere suggested such type of public shows.
Just one question suffices. Did the Last Messenger oblige the people of his own nation who demanded something from his own as hadith which should be other than Qur'aan? And then they be asked to understand the betterness of pagans of Mecca who did not attribute a single word to have been passed on to them by the Messenger other than Qur'aan as compared to those who concocted stories and attributed them to the Messenger.
For Urdu Readers
Raoul e Karim did not oblige people with saying other than Qur?aan
Demand for talk other than Qur?aan?Rasoul Karim declined to obligeBeginning is with the Personal Name of Allah, {Ar Rehman} Who is Most Merciful.

Good luck Alen...and I'm not really sure why you're doing this. You're in a VERY small minority among the muslims...and the scary thing is that the sect that makes up 85-90% assassinates hadith rejectors...are you making your death wish or what? laugh

I think I understand what you're saying...and the answer would be no, he did not command them to uphold other hadith that are not the Quran or teachings not found in the Quran, despite the sunni claim of the opposite.
By the way wanted to point out something funny. Even sunni Saleh As-Saleh who I'm currently refuting in the hadith forum ADMITS that the Quran is a clarification for everything yet needs clarification! How retarded is that? If something EXPLAINS EVERYTHING, why would it need something to explain it?

What's the difference between them?
