I would like to share a text with you. The text is written by Sayyid Ahmad Khan. Sayyid Ahmad Khan was a muslim pragmatist, philosopher and social reformer. The text (I am about to share) is an excellent text, in my opinion. Therefore, I highly recommend it.

Sayyid Ahmed Khan was born in India. He is also called as a "Neo Mutazilite". He revived the mutazilite thoughts in the Indian sub-continent in the 18th century.He only accepted around 5 hadiths and declared hadiths arent part of Islam. He found the Aligarh Muslim University. The mullas of that time used to give fatwas against him.
