Okay I'm not up to date on Catholics dirty business but I thought the only place where they'd be doing the violence thing is in Northern Ireland? I mean in this day and age of course, not talking about the Inquisition and all.

There's the dirty sexual business but I haven't heard of killing people outright for saying something different.

What have you been smoking? You say US gangs like they are one big homogeneous Mary-lovin' bunch. Or have you been watching too much mafia movies? And those aren't doing it in the name of religious war, they do it for money. So cough up your evidence instead of just saying something vague.

I asked some dude to tell us more about his experiences with jinns, the thread just went off-topic from there.

What is your problem??? I'm not saying they're a religious group but they resemble the Taliban and other groups like that in many, many ways. The Taliban don't fight for religious war; they fight for control. They want to be dominant, and if they can use religion to make that happen, they will use it to the fullest extent. Of course the Vatican isn't connected to these gangs, nor is any other Catholic institution or organization!

However, I question whether or not the Vatican was involved with the Ustase in Croatia who killed many, many people during World War II, mostly Serbs and Roma. Anyway...

                        peace

What about gatherings, where people call on ghosts? I saw it how the plate was movin, pointin on some letters... The 'ghosts' were answering, like medium said.

Well hey, since you say that every conjecture or conclusion amounts to nothing and since the conjecture is based on the Qur'an and the stories...pray tell what makes your experience any different?

Doesn't matter if anybody believes in you, just add another anecdote into the mix and it could be enlightening or fodder for future horror stories.

                            Fodder, uh huh.

I think I'll decline, after noting the general hostility of the posts which followed mine.
But I will say that there are, without question, "other worlds" and when you step over into one of them, you never really get back to the one you started from.

                            Be careful with djinn.

"The Mala'ikah could be composed of an innumerable number of creations, with Iblis of the Djinn being one of them. Perhaps the Malaak of gravity, math, chemistry, etc. all acquiesced and submitted to Man except the Malaak of passion, unpredictability and desire represented by fire. God knows best. "

That's interesting. I've been thinking along the same track for a while now. Look at this verse (5017), for example

Dr. Mohsin (Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions)]
Pickthal When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left,
Yusuf Ali Behold two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and note them), one sitting on the right and one on the left.

The two receivers on the left and on the right are often interpreted as two angels. Maybe these two receivers/angels/controllers are actually the brain, as in the right side of the brain and the left side. As we all know, the brain is the centre of our entire nervous system and our whole body depends on it. One cannot touch, hear, move, smell, speak without first sending signals to the brain.
Then again, the Qur'an also describes in verse 1311 two receivers/angels/controllers behind and in front of the person. However, if we look at the brain, we do often describe it as being divided into two parts but there are actually four lobes. On the right and on the left are the parietal and the temporal lobe, and behind and in front are the occipital and frontal lobe. This is just a thought. I will be researching on this. Allah knows best.

5016 We have created the human being and We know what his nafs whispers to him, and We are closer to him than his jugular vein. (QRT)

5017 And so it may happen that two conflicting demands in his mind, positioned in opposite directions, pull him apart. (QXP)

Dr. Shabbir explains 'the two recievers' being a person's reason and emotions.

Your interpretations is very interesting, and might be true, because a 'constant companion' is mentoned in 5023 and 5027, who is a witness at J-day.

                                  Peace

I am no longer a Sunna-rejecter. See 4:59-65, 62:2-4, 3:31, 4:156, 7:157 Messenger teaches and is to be followed and obeyed. Examples of revelation received which is not in the Qur'an: 3:123-126, 33:37, 2:187, 66:3, 62:9.

In my opinion, the constant companion is different from the two angels. Because the two angels have nothing to do with a person's decision, they only record his deeds and his thoughts. As for the constant companion (qareen/jinn/ego), he does have an effect on the person, because he either pushes him to do good or bad (but in most cases, bad).

                                    Peace,

                                    Muse
