Respectfully.True. I agree. In fact, i recognize myself here. I keep telling this one brother that just because sunnis are bowing and prostrating, that doesn't mean that we have to bow and prostrate with them.
He always quotes the verse bow with those who bow down.
And i always ask even with the idol-worshippers?Peace.

Well how could Quran-aloners be destined for hell? If they follow the Holy book how can they be wrong unless the book is wrong.
The thing is each sect in Islam claims all other sects DON'T follow the Quran, so, sunni's say Quran-aloners don't follow the Quran because to them, God says to follow the Quran AND the alleged man-made sunna. Not only is the sound of this statement idiotic, but it is disproven beyond doubt by the Quran, but since many muslims today fear and idolize bearded men...well...as Rami would say, HAIL SATAN!!!!!! voodoo voodoo

In regards to Rev.Johns post. how could Quran-alone be destined for hell? Some people are of the belief that we lay men or women haven't got the authority to translate and follow the Quran and thus our interpretations can be or are inaccurate because apparently we're more likely to follow our desires..

No, it's so meaning doesn't get 'distorted' so the supposed message stays real as it is and lives long.
It's not the bearded men or sheikhs or whoever that do it, its been done for centuries passed down generation to generation. it's something unquestionable. who would doubt such authority? the so called learned don't so it has it's strengths..
think of it this way, at uni if you need to write an essay about a topic you don't necessarily agree with or don't like, regardless of what it is you can skew it to make it sound all sugar coated and perfect. I think you can almost do that with anything.
