    Peace all,

Yesterday while during some research I stumbled upon a claim that the Prophet Muhammad had epilepsy. Supporters of the claim argue that the Qur'an cannot be divine because of the supposed epilepsy. The claim seems to be supported by hadith. (I know that many here on this forum don't believe in hadith but I'm still curious to see what everyone thinks.) I had never heard of this before so I looked up a couple of articles on it. There are more, but here are just a few that I found (warning the first two sites seem to be very anti-Muslim)

    http//www.faithfreedom.org/Articles/sina41204.htm

    http//www.letmeturnthetables.com/2012/03/origins-of-epilepsy-lie-about-prophet.html

Has anyone heard of this claim before? Has anyone done a lot of research on it? I plan on looking into this issue more if I can (there seem to a couple books on the Prophet's supposed epilepsy as well), but I was curious to see what everyone on this forum has to say first. What do you think?

So what if, if, if, the Prophet ws epileptic?

Would that change the Qur'an? No.

So what matters is whether the Qur'an convinces or not. Tht whoever received the revelation of it was epileptic or bald, or short or tall does not change a thing.

If he was now it is obviously to late to be of help to him and he did his job anyway.

      Salaam

Forgive me, but I don't understand the purpose of that image?
