Garden of Eden story in the Quran not convincing

So what you are trying to say that he knows the beginning
and the end. So what is the point of creating something when
you undoubtedly know the outcome? It just does not make

The biggest thought provoking story in the Quran is the story of
Adam and the fall from Heaven which I find not convincing and
that there is a deeper meaning behind the story.
I would like to draw your attention to Surah 7 Verse 7 to 27.
There are a few questions that I would appreciate if someone
out there can answer in detail.- God said to the angels to yield to Adam but Satan refused.
Does not that prove that he was an angel as God was
addressing the angels? - What did the tree symbolise in the Quran?
- Why after tasting the tree their bodies became apparent
to them? Werent they made of mud and clay? - What was Satan doing in the tree after he was asked
to get out from Eden and was banished? - Why did God permit Satan to deceive Adam?
- Who was Satan?
I would appreciate if someone can give me a good answer
on this questions but not answers like this is a test and
so on which is typical of what I have been hearing from so
many people I have asked.
Though this story in the Quran is the continuation of the
story in the Garden of Eden of Genesis in the Bible and
has more trees like Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge.
So please I will appreciate if someone can give a good
explanation as I am not very convinced.First, adam = us, metaphorically. Look at 711.
The adam story symbolises the fall of the human race.

The angels( more accurately translated as the 'controllers' / forces of nature) would work for us, satan would not .

It's in our nature to make the wrong choices, be gullible, accept information without verification, be duped by false promises etc.

Maybe it symbolizes the end of innocence? We had it so good in the beginning... I am not speaking of 'original sin'.

Satan is a part of us. Think about it, how can one 'thing' do all that he says? (711) 5016 also says that our nafs (usually translated as soul) whispers to us.

I don't believe in a God who makes decisions for the creation. That makes us living the life pointless. Look at the Moses story, for example. God already knew the choice Pharaoh would make, but this is what Moses is told, "So say to him soft words, perhaps he will remember or take heed." 2044

What I fail to understand if Satan is our ego and our evil side
that means it was God originally that created this evil.
This is why I mentioned in one of my earlier posts that our
brain which consist of a gland which is called the reptilian
brain is the one that sends all negative signals to us and
causes all the evil feelings and thoughts we experience.
So the question is if this is Satan and it is situated in our
brain then I must say that it is normal to have evil thoughts
as it is a part of us. We have been bound with this
Satan and all this effort to do good just ceases.
So this also means that all this God, Devil and angels is
actually in us rather than in a distant heaven somewhere.

satan/jinn/angels are not just 'inside' us. Think of satan as the 'original evil'. Once people started believing "his" lies, etc this evil spread...
No, satan wasn't evil from the beginning. He made this choice; he wants to prove he is better than us. Even he fears God; he disowns us (5916). God does not order evil, according to 728. This is said right after the adam-satan story. 479 says that anything good is from God, and anything bad is from our nafs.
It's all about making the right choices... The God can't make the choices for us.

that the Annunaki created man. Annunaki in Sumerian means
from heaven to Earth they came.
In the early 19th century 12000 tablets were found in Iraq and
this tablet clearly shows mingling of the Annunaki with men
and also tells the story of the garden and creation alongwith
Noah's flood and so on.
My biggest susicion is that could there be a possibility that
the Jews borrowed this concepts during their exile in Babylon
and invented the Torah, Kabbalah and so on.
