In Judaism, especially in those days, God is referred to as the Father, or my Father or our Father by everyone, so Jesus calling the Temple "My Fathers house" would not be unusual for anyone to say.

Someone sent me this email - not very religious but funny.

          Three Good Arguments ...

There are 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black

          1. He called everyone "brother"
          2. He liked Gospel
          3. He couldn't get a fair trial.

But then there are 3 equally good arguments that
          Jesus was Jewish

          1. He went into His Father's business.
          2. He lived at home until he was 33.
          3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his mother thought he was God.

But then there are 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian

          1. He talked with his hands.
          2. He had wine with every meal.
          3. He used olive oil.

But then there are 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was a Californian

          1. He never cut his hair.
          2. He walked around barefoot all the time.
          3. He started a new religion.

But then there are 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Irish

          1. He never got married.
          2. He was always telling stories.
          3. He loved green pastures.

But the most compelling evidence of all - 3 proofs that Jesus was a woman

          1. He fed a crowd at a moment's notice when there was no food.
          2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn't get it
          3. And even when he was dead, He had to get up because there was more work to do.

              (359)

Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allh is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.
Easa (Jesus) was not only fatherless but also motherless. Mariam (The Virgin Mary) was his surrogate mother. She received him in her womb already made. Her (egg) did not have a part in his making.
              (1919)

He said, "I am but the messenger of your Lord to give you (as a gift) a pure boy."

              Peace,
              Respectfully.

You're forgetting one important verse, sister

4157 And their saying ?We have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of God!? And they had not murdered him, nor killed him by crucifixion, but it appeared to them as if they had. Those who dispute are in doubt of him, they have no knowledge except to follow conjecture; they did not kill him for a certainty.

Glory be to THE MOST Merciful.
              Peace.

He was her son still, for the reason of being carried by her. She could have been his mother too even by only breastfeeding him. According to the Quran, one can be a son of any woman who would nurse/breastfeed him, let alone carry him in her womb. The physical and the emotional bond would be of course much greater and deserving of the title mother and child.

                    Peace Alen,

Prohibited to you are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother?s daughters, your sister's daughters, your mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship of your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you have not gone in unto them, there is no sin upon you. And the wives of your sons who are from your loins, and that you take two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already occurred. Indeed, Allh is ever Forgiving and Merciful. (423)

Also, if Jesus was God, why would he go out into the desert to pray to himself?

                      1. Because people in the city will call him lunatic once they saw a guy praying to himself?
                      2. Jesus kinda bored with hectic city life?

What is the need of praying, if one praying to himself anyway?
I imagine how funny it is for someone to pray to himself..
Me, grant me my daily bread.
Me, forgive me of my wrongdoings.
Glory to Me for ever and ever, Amen.

THere also a figure of the Devil tempting Jesus in the desert..
Then the Devil was also God?
Thus it is a God tempting God to betray God?
                      Or
the Devil is one of God's creature..
Then it is God's creature tempting God to betray God?

                      It's a total logical mess...

                      Salam / Peace

I completely agree. Jesus was a man, a prophet, nothing else (and that coming from a Christian)
