Anyway i hate the internet for it's pathetic obscenity, it needs to be regulated. destroyed and removed would be better. children and young adults (even adults) can easily access such stuff and parents with little knowledge on the internet and how it works, who don't watch/supervise their kids might be in big trouble!

That's the fault of the parents. There is parental control software. Parents with little knowledge of the internet shouldn't hand young kids the keys to the internet.

If there was no internet, they'd stick to dvds, etc. You can't prevent children/adolescents from porn, by banning the internet. It's not the tool, it's the human.
Sure, the internet has its share of 'obscenities' (ok, a 'bit' more than a share), but It has a lot of useful information also. Think about the tools we use to analyze/study the quran, we'd not have that either. Nor would we have other quran/God aloners to converse/discuss with.
It's also about supply and demand. In this 'modern world', sex sells. 4/118 comes to mind.

Yes the internet has its pro?s and cons I was specifically talking about the obscenities. I love the internet, I learnt a whole heap from it and hey I met cool people too
It can be the fault of the parents, but ignorance can overlook the fault. If parents don't know about the ?cons? well they don't assume it could be bad (or they can assume the opposite that it?s really bad). Also if parents don't supervise there?s so many ways to clear history or minimise sites or whatever to conceal actions..
Parent control software would be good.. I guess.
You?re right there are different ways of accessing things with or without internet, but internet just makes it a tad bit easier.
I dunno about 4/118 but 4/120 came more to mind.
